Product Usage Instructions

Installation
Ensure the following during installation:

  • Power supply should be connected to 230V
  • Keep a distance of at least 1.50 meters from other devices
  • Maintain a clearance of more than 20 cm around the device

Installation Process
The thermostat must be mounted on an enclosure box in a thermally representative area of the room to be regulated, about 1.5 meters above the floor and away from any heat sources (windows, doors…). To avoid measurements being influenced by drafts, it is necessary to block the arrival of wires inside the enclosure box (with mastic, wool, etc.).

IMPORTANT:  Do not install the thermostat on an exterior wall or with an unheated room behind it (e.g., garage).

  1. Cut off the power supply to the installation.
  2. Separate the base from the stand.
  3. Connect and fix the base. Your Tybox should be connected with flexible or rigid cables of maximum 1.5 mm² section.
  4. Insert the batteries.  ATTENTION:  Be sure to respect the battery orientation and type (not Lithium batteries).
  5. Switch the programming type: weekly (A) or daily (B).
  6. Close and lock the housing.
  7. Restore the power supply to the installation.

Why does the thermostat turn on although the programming does not demand it?

The thermostat uses a type of regulation that anticipates the inertia of temperature variations to calculate energy needs more accurately and provide maximum comfort. As a result, the heating can turn on even if the set temperature is not yet reached.
