  • This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
  • Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit
  • The installation process may require drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
  • All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.

ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING

Note :

NOTE: Use “A” when installing on the driver’s side and use “B” when installing on the passenger’s side.

REMOVING THE JOUNCE BUMPER AND PLACING THE ASSEMBLY ON THE AXLE

STEP1. Raise the vehicle and support it in a way, using safety stands or equivalent, that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame. This will need to be done in order for the air spring assemblies to be put into position between the axle and frame.
STEP2. Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper from the frame.

STEP 3. Place the assembly on the strike plate with the legs of the lower bracket on either side of the axle.

INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET

STEP1. The air fitting points to the rear of the driver’s (left) side and the front of the vehicle on the passenger’s (right)side.

STEP2. Push the axle up so that the Upper mounting bracket ( eof the Air spring bag kit list ) can be bolted to the frame with the Hex bolt (@ of the Air spring bag kit list) .

INSTALLING THELOWER BRACKET

STEP1. Adjust assembly so that the air spring is perpendicular to the bottom and top mounting brackets without twisting.

STEP2. Install the Fastening block (oof the Air spring bag kit list ) to the axle and Lower mounting bracket (o of the Air spring bag kit list )with Carriage bolt (eof the Air spring bag kit list ), washer and lock nut.

INSTALLING THE BRAKE LINE BRACKET (DRIVER’S SIDE ONLY)

INSTALLING THE HEAT SHIELD (PASSENGER’S SIDE ONLY)

  • Install the Heat shield (25 of the Air spring bag kit list )where it is closest to the passenger’s(right) side air spring
    Note:
    Must slide the air line protective sleeve over the air line near the exhaust port.

INSTALLING THE AIRLINES

  • Cut the air line appropriately and push the hose into the fitting then pull back  and make sure it’s locked in place.

  • Install the inflatable valve in a selected location, usually on the license plate at  the rear of the vehicle.

CHECK AIR TIGHTNESS

  • Put some air into the air spring bag and then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves while checking for exiting air bubbles.

INSTALLATION COMPLETED
