PRE-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

• This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
• Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
• The installation process may require drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
• All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING

INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET

STEP 1.
Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame, and the air spring assemblies can be put into position between the leaf spring and frame.
STEP 2.
Remove the wheels.
STEP 3.
Pry the ABS sensor harness clip from the bottom of the frame and remove the stock ABS sensor harness clip. Then install the new R type pipe clamp ( 28 of the Air spring bag kit list) on the harness. STEP4.
Insert the hex bolt and washer through the hole on the outside of the frame, and let them pass through the bottom of the frame. STEP 5.
Attach the upper bracket ( 1 of the Air spring bag kit list) to the axle, and make sure the previously inserted bolt goes through the hole in the bottom of the bracket. Then tighten the bolt with R clamp, washer and nut. STEP 6.
Insert the carriage bolt ( 11 of the Air spring bag kit list) through the upper bracket, frame and bushing ( 12 of the Air spring bag it list).
Then tighten the bolt with a larger washer and nut.

PLACING THE ASSEMBLY ON THE LEAF SPRING

STEP1.
Place the assembly on the leaf spring.

INSTALLING THE AIRFITTING

STEP1.
Put the plastic hex thin nut (15 of the Air spring bag kit list) and lock washer (19 of the Air spring bag kit list) on the upper threaded post of the air spring, and tighten it after the installation is completed.

INSTALLING THE LOWER BRACKET

STEP 1.
Adjust the assembly so that the air spring is perpendicular to the bottom and top mounting brackets without twisting.
STEP 2.
Attach the lower mounting bracket (3 of the Air spring bag kit list) to the leaf spring, then tighten the fastening block (4 of the Air spring bag kit list) with U-bolt, washers and nuts, The passenger’s side is the same way.

INSTALLING THE AIR LINES

STEP 1.
Cutthe airline appropriately and push the hose into the fitting, then pull back and make sure it’s locked in place. STEP 2.
Install the inflatable valve in a selected location, usually on the license plate at the rear of the vehicle.

CHECK AIR TIGHTNESS

• Put some air into the air spring bag, then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves while checking for exiting air bubbles.
