  • This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
  • Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
  • The installation process may require drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
  • All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.

Installation

ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING

Assembly Instruction

REMOVING THE JOUNCE BUMPER

STEP 1. Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame, and the air spring assemblies can be put into position between the axle and frame.

STEP 2. Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper from the frame.

PLACING THE ASSEMBLY ON THE AXLE

STEP 1. Place the assembly on the axle.

INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET

STEP 1.
Attach the upper mounting bracket (1 of the Air spring bag kit list) to the frame. Align the two bolts of the upper bracket with the two holes in the front of the frame and insert them.
Installation

NOTE: The air fitting in the middle goes to face toward inside the truck.

STEP 2.
Lock the two bolts of the upper mounting bracket to the frame with washers and nuts.
Installation

INSTALLING THE LOWER BRACKET

STEP 1.
Adjust the assembly so that the air spring is perpendicular to the bottom and top mounting brackets without twisting.

STEP 2.
Install the lower mounting bracket (2 of the Air spring bag kit list) to the frame with lower block (of the Air spring bag kit list), then tighten with the nuts. The other side is the same installation method.
Installation

NOTE:
Let the emergency brake line pass through the R-clip, and then install the R-clip to the lower mounting bracket.

INSTALLING THE HEAT SHIELD (PASSENGER’S SIDE ONLY)

STEP 1.
Install the heat shield (26 of the Air spring bag kit list) where it is closest to the passenger’s(right) side air spring.

NOTE: Must slide the air line protective sleeve over the air line near the exhaust port.

INSTALLING THE AIR LINES

STEP 1.
Cut the air line appropriately and push the hose into the fitting, then pull back and make sure it’s locked in place.

STEP 2.
Install the inflatable valve in a selected location, usually on the license plate at the rear of the vehicle.

CHECK AIR TIGHTNESS

  • Put some air into the air spring bag, then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves while checking for exiting air bubbles.
