Instruction for use
Step 1: Locate the driver side step rail.
Step 2 Install the (x6) mounting brackets to each attachment point on the
main tube and leave loose for now.
** NOTE:** The brackets will attach to the backside of the mounting flange
with the threaded end of the carriage bolt facing towards the REAR of the
step. ***
Step 3 Carefully raise the Nerf Step up into position aligning the
mounting brackets with the factory-threaded holes. Beginning with the center
bracket start one of the supplied M8x30mm Hex bolts in the upper mount and
finger tighten. This will allow the Nerf step to be suspended while you start
the reminder of the hardware.
Step 4 Next, start all remainder hardware in the factory locations and
leave loose.
Step 5 After final adjustment fully tighten (x3) brackets to the factory
body mounts.
Step 6 Next, fully tighten (x3) brackets to the mounting flanges on the
main tube.
Step 7 Repeat steps 3-6 for the passenger side.
