Product Usage Instructions

Tools Required for Installation:

• 8 M10x25mm carriage bolts
• 8 M10 flanged hex nuts
• 2 M8x30mm hex bolts
• 2 M8 lock washers
• 2 M8 flat washers
• Additional tools as required for removing OE running boards/steps

Installation Steps:

• Step 1:
  Install 1 bracket (#3), 3 brackets (#4) to the driver (#1) and passenger (#2) side step using 8 M10x25mm carriage bolts (#8) and 8 M10 flanged hex nuts (#9). Leave them loose for now. Ensure that the threaded part of the carriage bolt points towards the rear of the vehicle.

• Step 2:
  Remove any OE running boards/steps and hardware from the 3 mounting locations. Clean any dirt or debris from the threaded holes.

• Step 3:
  Carefully place the step into place, aligning the brackets with the 3 mounting locations.

• Step 4:
  Use 2 M8x30mm hex bolts (#5), 2 M8 lock washers (#6), and 2 M8 flat washers (#7) to start in the center bracket and hand-tighten them. This will allow the step to hang while installing the remaining hardware.

• Step 5:
  Install the M8x30mm hex bolt (#5), lock washer (#6), and ny-lock hex nut (#8) in the lower mounting locations. Leave them loose.

• Step 6:
  After final positioning, tighten the lower mounting positions first, starting with the rear bracket and working your way up to the front bracket. Torque to 20 ft/lbs.

• Step 7:
  Tighten the upper mounts. If M10x30mm bolts were used, torque to 30 ft/lbs. For M8x30mm bolts, torque to 20-25 ft/lbs.

• Step 8:
  Tighten all mounting brackets at the main tube to 30 ft/lbs.

• Step 9:
  Repeat the process for the passenger side.

Tools for Installation

• 13mm socket
• 17mm socket
• Ratchet wrench

INSTALL

1. Step 1. Install (#3)x1 bracket, (#4)x3 bracket to (#1) driver and (#2) passenger side step using (#8)x8 M10x25mm carriage bolt and (#9)x8 M10 flanged hex nut and leave loose for now
   NOTE : The bracket w will attach to the back side of welded flanged on main tube so the threaded part of the carriage bolt points towards the rear of vehicle.

2. Step 2. Remove any OE running boards/steps and or hardware from (x3) mounting locations. Clean any dirt or debris from threaded holes.

3. Step 3. Carefully place steps into place aligning brackets with (x3) mounting location.

4. Step 4. Use (#5)x2 M8x30mm hex bolt, (#6)x2 M8 lock washer and (#7)x2 M8 flat washer and start in the center bracket and hand leave loose for now. This will allow the step to hang while installing the remaining hardware

5. Step 5. Install the ( (#5) M8x30mm hex bolt, (#6) lock washer and (#8) ny-lock hex nut in the lower mounting locations and leave them loose.

6. Step 6. After final positioning, tighten the lower mounting position first, beginning with the rear bracket and working your way up to the front bracket. (20 ft/lbs)

7. Step 7. Finish by tightening the upper mounts. If M10x30mm bolts were used, torque to (30 ft/lbs) and (20-25 ft/lbs) for M8x30mm bolts.

8. Step 8. Tighten all mounting brackets at the main tube to (30 ft/lbs).

9. Step 9. Repeat the process for the passenger side.
