Product Information
This product is a luminaire that requires installation and operation in accordance with national safety regulations. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician carry out the installation and commissioning. The manufacturer does not accept liability for any damage caused by improper use or installation. The luminaire is protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547 standards. Additional overvoltage protection components can be found on the manufacturer’s website at www.bega.com. The luminaire has two module designations: K27 and K3. The K27 module has a connected wattage of 11.5 W and a luminaire-connected wattage of 13.5 W. The K3 module also has a connected wattage of 11.5 W and a luminaire-connected wattage of 13.5 W. The K27 module has a color temperature of 2700 K, a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 90, a module luminous flux of 1665 lm, a luminaire luminous flux of 1333 lm, and a luminaire luminous efficiency of 98.7 lm/W. The K3 module has a color temperature of 3000 K, a CRI greater than 90, a module luminous flux of 1735 lm, a luminaire luminous flux of 1389 lm, and a luminaire luminous efficiency of 102.9 lm/W.
Product Usage Instructions
During installation or relamping, avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly. To ensure a secure connection, position the luminaire housing precisely in relation to the mounting plate. Align the vertical bar inside the housing with the mounting hole on the long bar of the mounting plate. Press the housing firmly against the plate and turn it clockwise until it stops. To open the luminaire, unscrew the glass from the housing by turning it counterclockwise. Hold the housing in place with one hand to prevent the luminaire from turning on the mounting plate. If the LED module needs to be replaced, refer to the label in the luminaire for the module designation. The replacement module should have the same light color and light output as the original module. Qualified individuals can replace the module using standard tools. Disconnect the system, open the luminaire, and follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Replace any defective glass and close the luminaire.

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made
to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be
considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547. To achieve additional protection
against e. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection
components. You can find them on our website at

Installation
LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light
output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Remove
the mounting plate from the luminaire housing. Unplug the earth conductor
connection (plug contact).
Please note:
If the luminaire is to be mounted onto a metallic, electroconductive surface,
it is mandatory to make sure that the mounting surface is connected
conductively to the earth conductor of the luminaire! Lead the power
connecting cable through the mounting plate. Fix the mounting plate with
enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
Establish the earth conductor connection to the luminaire housing (plug
contact). Make an earth conductor connection. Push silicone sleeves over the
lines and make an electrical connection. The two connecting terminals marked
DA, DA are provided for digital control purposes. If these terminals are not
assigned, the luminaire will work with full light output.
IMPORTANT:
To ensure a secure connection, the luminaire housing must be positioned
precisely in relation to the mounting plate. Make sure that the vertical bar
inside the luminaire housing is positioned precisely in the area of the
mounting hole on the long bar of the mounting plate. Press the luminaire
housing firmly against the mounting plate and turn it clockwise firmly against
the stop.
Open luminaire:
Unscrew the glass from the luminaire housing by turning it counter-clockwise.
To prevent the luminaire from turning on the mounting plate, hold the
luminaire housing in place with one hand.
Cleaning Maintenance
Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
Replacement of the LED module
The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire. The
light color and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those
of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified
persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. The defective
glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.
