BEGA 12130.3 Ceiling and Wall Luminaire
Product Information
The product is a luminaire made of aluminium with a polished aluminium finish. It features a hand-blown opal glass with a satin matt texture and a screw neck. The luminaire has a silicone gasket and two cable entries for through- wiring for mains. It has a distance apart of 190 mm and a connecting terminal of 2.5@ with a plug connection. The luminaire also has an earth conductor connection and a 2-pole connecting terminal for the LED power supply unit. It operates on a LED-Netzteil with a voltage range of 220-240 V and frequency range of 50-60 Hz DC 176-276 V. The luminaire is DALI-controllable and has one DALI address.
It has basic insulation between the mains and control lines. The luminaire has temporary thermal regulation to protect temperature-sensitive components without switching off the light. It is classified as safety class I and has a protection class of IP 64, making it dust-tight and protected against splash water. The luminaire has an impact strength of IK05 and weighs 2.4 kg. Installation
- LED are high-quality electronic components!
- Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- Remove glass from luminaire housing by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Disassemble LED module.
- Disconnect plug connection.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire housing.
- Fix luminaire housing with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- It is absolutely essential to use the enclosed gaskets.
- Push silicone sleeves over the lines, make ground and electrical connection to the terminal – plug connection.
- For digital control please use the 2-pole plug connector (DALI).
- In case this connector is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
- Push plug into coupler as far as it will go.
- Assemble LED module.
- Screw glass with gasket firmly into the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise.
- Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly.
Maintenance
Cleaning /Maintenance
- Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
- Defective glass must be replaced.
Replacement of the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets.
- Defective glass must be replaced.
- Close the luminaire.
