Intended Use

The purpose of the VN15 RF wireless charger is to charge Tag/Receiver outfitted with the proprietary Energous energy receiving circuit. The VN15 wireless charger can only be used in conjunction with devices that contain the receiving circuits for charging the receiver with and without battery. The VN15 transmitter is intended to mount on ceiling or side wall and Tags will be mounted on shelf for product information.

This device is intended to be indoor use only.

User Operation

  • The VN15 does not contain a power switch. Simply connect the mini-USB cable end to the VN15 Charger and the USB-C cable end to the wall adapter power supply.
  • The Smart tags are shelf-mounted with a fixed receive location, VN15 charger will transmit and charge the tags when turn on. The equipment will commence charging within a few seconds. Consult the Tag’s user manual for the time duration and procedures for charging.
  • Standard operating environmental temp 0-40deg C
  • 5-95% Relative Humidity
  • 3048m or 10,000’ altitude

Radio Characteristics:

  • The VN15 transmitter nominal frequency is: 916.5MHz- 918.1MHz.
  • The VN15 transmitter conducted average output power is: 0.92 Watts
  • The BLE transmitter (VN15) operating frequency: 2402 – 2480MHz
  • The BLE transmitter (VN15) max peak output power: 0.44 Milliwatts

Mini USB Port

Insert the designated cable at the USB-C port of the Energous charger and also into the type A USB port of the electrical AC wall power supply adapter to connect the Energous Charger.

RF Exposure Notice
VN15 RF wireless charger complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment in accordance with FCC Rule Part 2.1093. The Wireless charger transmitter is designed to be mounted on the ceiling or on a side wall and must be installed accordingly to ensure a minimum 20cm separation distance from persons.
