IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use
- Never exceed the maximum permitted load.
- Never run the piston too far out, as it can be pushed right out of the cylinder.
- Always install the dust covers if connections are being disconnected.
- Pump very carefully if the load is not centred above the piston.
- If pumping requires considerable force, stop working, relieve the load on the piston and adjust the setup so that the load is more centred.
- Make sure the hose is not folded over. Do not subject the hose to impacts.
- Route the hose so that it does not constitute a tripping risk and is not at risk of being subjected to loads – risk of damage to the hose and/or connections.
- Do not expose the equipment to fire or extreme heat – risk of damage.

USE
Pump unit
- Connect the pump hose to the hydraulic cylinder and check that the connections are properly secured.
- Close the relief valve by turning it clockwise.
- Pump the handle up and down.
- Relieve the pressure by turning the valve anticlockwise.
NOTE
The pump can be used in all positions between horizontal and vertical. If the
pump is tilted, the end of the hose must be lowest.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
- The bleed screw must be tightened to bleed before use. Close the bleed screw when in use.
- When the tool is not being used, the pump unit’s relief valve must be left open.
- The tool is filled with hydraulic oil at the factory. Only use approved oil.
- Change the oil after extended use.
Checking the oil
- To check the oil level, place the tool on a horizontal surface. Set the handle as high as possible
- if the handle does not reach the highest position there is not enough oil, and refilling is necessary.
Top up with oil
- Put the tool in a vertical position. Unscrew the bleed screw and top up the oil.
Changing the oil
Drain the oil by removing the bleed screw and opening the relief valve. Make
sure no contaminants enter the system. Fill with oil of an approved grade as
above.
