USE

The product has a built-in safety function which means that it can be left connected to the battery (in or out of a vehicle) for long periods when the vehicle is not in use (for example vehicles that are used irregularly or seasonally), without risking damaging the battery. The product also has functions that provide protection from short circuiting and incorrect connection,
and starts automatically after a power failure.

CHARGING

WARNING!

  • Read these instructions carefully before use.
  • Disconnect the power supply before connecting or disconnecting the battery.
  • Explosive gas forms during battery charging. Avoid sources of heat, such as naked flames or sparks. Ensure good ventilation.
  • The charging current is set automatically, depending on the battery capacity and/or charging level.
  • Winter mode (for 12 V lead-acid battery and 12 V AGM battery): temperature 5°C or less.
  • Built-in overheating protection and spark protection.
  • Ambient temperature in operation -10 to 40°C, in storage -10 to 50°C.
  • The charging current can be reduced if the battery temperature exceeds 40°C during charging. If the temperature exceeds 45°C the charging stops, and is resumed when the battery has cooled to a safe temperature.

Indication of charging level
Every marking corresponds to 20%. The frame flashes when charging is in progress.
When the frame and all the markings are lit, the battery is fully charged and the product switches to standby mode.
Resolution, battery voltage: 0.1 V. Indication of incorrect polarity, battery fault/or connection fault.
