ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE LENS
- Remove the rear lens cover. Align the lens attachment mark ⑫ and the mount mark on the camera, then insert the objective.
- Turn the lens clockwise until it locks.
- To remove the lens, turn the lens in the opposite direction while pressing the release button on the camera.
- Turn the camera off before attaching or removing the lens.

FOCUS MODE
SWITCHING TO FOCUS MODE

Lenses with connection port ⑪ can be connected to a computer using the TAMRON connection cable (sold separately). Then using the dedicated “TAMRON Lens Utility TM” application, you can update the firmware and save the functions on the focus adjustment button ⑨.

- Turn the zoom ring ⑩ to adjust the focal length (zoom position) to the desired position.
LENS HOOD
LENS HOOD (See fig. 1, 2, 3)

- Align the lens hood alignment mark ② on the lens hood with the lens hood release mark ⑤ on the lens.
- Turn the sun visor ① in the direction of the arrow until the sun visor lock mark ③ meets the lock mark unlocking the sun visor ⑤.

- Attach the sun visor ① in reverse and turn it until it locks.
- Be aware that the periphery of the photographed image may darken if the lens hood ① is not attached correctly.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- An internal focusing (IF) system is used to reduce the minimum focal length. The viewing angle may be wider than that of lenses using other focusing systems when shooting at a distance less than infinity.
- The lens hood or lens barrel may block light from the flash. It is recommended to carry out tests shooting beforehand.
- Differences in camera display systems may cause values to be displayed differently from the values minimum and maximum opening specifications. This is not an error.
