- Exercise caution and ensure there is constant adult supervision when the ice cube maker is used near children.

- For safety, the ice cube maker must be properly grounded. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a grounding plug for wall outlets to minimise the possibility of electric shock. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician.
- This icemaker must be positioned in such a way that the plug is accessible.
- Ensure no other appliance is plugged into the same power outlet.
- Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the socket.

OVERVIEW

- Name: Description
- Clock display: When the appliance is turned on, it will display the current time. This can be adjusted.
- No water indicator: When flashing, this means there is no water in the ice cube maker. Open the cover and pour water into the appliance.
- Ice full indicator: When illuminated, this means the ice bucket is full. Remove ice cubes from the ice bucket.
- Power indicator: This indicator will be solidly illuminated when the ice maker is turned on, and will be flashing when on standby.
- Cleaning indicator: When flashing, the ice cube maker needs to be cleaned
- Ice cube size indicator: This indicator will display the current set size of the ice cubes (small, medium, large).
- Timer delay display: When a timer is set, this will show the amount of time left before the timer is activated.
BEFORE USE
Remove the packaging and ensure all components are included. If any components
are missing, contact help.Kogan.com for assistance.
Open the cover, remove the ice bucket, and clean with water thoroughly.
Clean the interior thoroughly with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Placement
Place the ice cube maker on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and other
heat sources (for example, stoves, radiators). Ensure there is at least a 10cm
clearance around the ice cube maker away from walls and other obstructions.
Allow one hour for the refrigerant liquid to settle before plugging the power
cord into a socket.
Notes:
- Ensure the ice cube maker is positioned in way that the plug is accessible and visible.
- If the ice cube maker is being brought from the outdoors during winter, allow for a few hours for the appliance to warm to room temperature before plugging in.
OPERATION
Making ice cubes
WARNING: Do not use any liquid other than drinking water in the ice cube maker.

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a socket, then turn the socket on.

Open the cover and remove the ice basket. Pour drinking water into the water reservoir. Ensure the water level is below the ‘MAX’ line marked inside the reservoir.

Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn on the ice cube maker and begin the ice-making cycle.
You may select the size of the ice cubes by pressing the select button on the control panel. There are three sizes (small, medium, large). These are reflected by the ice cube size indicator on the LCD display.
The ice-making cycle will take between 6–13 minutes. This variability depends on the selected ice cube size and ambient temperature. Note:
If the room temperature is lower than 15°C, it is recommended to select the small or medium ice cube sizes to avoid the ice cubes sticking together. -
Open the cover and use the ice scoop to take out the ice cubes.
Note:
Change the water in the reservoir every 24 hours to ensure proper hygiene. If the unit will not be in use, drain all water out.
No water indicator
When making ice, check the water level periodically. If the water pump is unable to pump water, the ice maker will stop automatically. The no water indicator ‘ ’ will start flashing on the control panel.
- Refill the water up to the ‘MAX’ line, then wait for at least three minutes to allow the refrigerant liquid to settle.
- Press the ON/OFF button to restart the ice cube maker and resume use.
Ice full indicator
The ice cube maker will automatically stop operating when the ice bucket is
full. The ice full indicator ‘ ’ will illuminate on the control panel.
- Using the ice scoop, remove ice from the appliance.
Setting the timer
Depending on whether the ice cube maker is currently on standby or operating,
the timer can be set to start or stop operating the ice cube maker after a
specified time (0.5–19.5 hours). The default time is set to three hours. To
set the timer:
- Press the timer button. The timer delay display will start flashing ‘3.0H’ to indicate the default time.
- Press the select button to set the desired time. Each press will increase the time by 0.5 hours. Holding down the select button for more than three seconds will adjust the timer in faster intervals. The change in time will be shown on the timer delay display.
- After five seconds of flashing, the desired time will turn solid to confirm the timer set.
Cancelling the timer
To cancel the timer, press the timer button.
Clock display
The clock display will show the current time. To adjust the time:
- Press the clock button and the hour setting will start flashing. Press the select button to adjust the hour setting. Each press will increase the setting by one.
- Press the clock button again and the minute setting will start flashing. Press the select button again to adjust the minute setting. Press the select button to adjust the minute setting.
- Press the clock button again to confirm the changes.
Note:
When adjusting the hour/minute settings, after flashing for five seconds, the
setting will turn solid to confirm the adjustment is set.
CLEANING & CARE
When the cleaning indicator is flashing, this indicates the ice cube maker needs to be cleaned.
Note:
If the appliance has been cleaned, press and hold the timer button for five
seconds and the cleaning indicator will disappear and reset.
Cleaning the interior
Ensure the ice cube maker is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Remove the ice bucket. Using a soft cloth, clean the interior with a solution of warm water and diluted detergent.
- Rinse the interior with water, then unplug the drain cap to allow the water to flow out.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the exterior
Clean the exterior regularly with a solution of warm water and mild detergent.
Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Note:
Do not clean the ice cube maker with flammable substances as this may create a
fire hazard.
Storage
If the ice cube maker will not be used for an extended period, unplug the
drain cap, and ensure all water is drained out. Wipe the interior dry.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
Disposal
- Gas inside the ice cube maker is flammable. Disposal shall be in accordance with national regulations.
- This marking indicates that this appliance should not be disposed of with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
