Always wear ear protection!
The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardized test method, can be used to compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The measurement values have been determined in accordance with EN 60335-2-77:2010.

WARNING!
The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified maximum value, depending on how the tool is used. It is, therefore, necessary to determine which safety precautions are required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in addition to the start-up time).

TIPS

  • Do not cut wet grass, it will fasten to the underside of the deck and prevent the ejector/catcher from working properly.
  • Do not mow more than 1/3 of the height of the grass at once, this can damage the grass.
  • Adapt your speed of movement so that the cut grass is spread evenly over the lawn. Move at a lower speed if the grass is tall and/or thick.
  • Tall grass may need to be mowed twice, first cutting 1/3 of the height and then cutting 1/3 of what is left after mowing the first time. Follow a different pattern when performing the second cut. Mow with overlapping paths.
  • Always operate the product at full motor speed for optimum mowing results.
  • Clean the underside of the cutting deck each time after use, removing any accumulated grass, which can impair mowing results.
  • Mowing fallen leaves may be beneficial for the lawn. The leaves must be dry and not lying in an excessively thick layer on the lawn. Mow several times while the leaves are falling — don’t wait until all the leaves have fallen from the trees.

NOTE:
Switch off the motor immediately if the blades hit any objects. Remove the battery and check the product for damage. Repair any damage before using the product again. In the event of abnormal vibrations, switch off the product immediately and remove the battery. Has the product been checked and repaired before using it again?

MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Switch off the product, remove the battery and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before adjusting and/or performing maintenance.

  • Do not spray water over the product. The penetration of water can damage electrical parts. Clean the product with a dry cloth, brush, or the equivalent.

  • Do not make any modifications to the product and never try to open or dismantle it. Have the product checked by an authorized service center in the event of any of the following:
    – If the blades strike an object.
    – The motor stops suddenly.
    – If the blade is bent (do not attempt to straighten it).
    – If the motor shaft is bent (do not attempt to straighten it).
    – If there is a short-circuit/electrical fault when the plug is inserted.
    – If the gearbox is damaged.
    – If the V-belt is damaged.

  • Only use parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

BLADES
NOTE:
Wear gloves when handling blades.

  •  The blades are made of compression-molded steel. They need to be sharpened regularly.

  • The blades must always be balanced in order to avoid harmful vibrations.

  • Undo the blade screw to remove the blades. Check the blades’ balance by inserting a screwdriver with a round stem (or another round object) through the hole in the middle. The blades should hang horizontally without moving. If they are not balanced, the heavier end of the blade will drop down. Sharpen the heavier end until the blades are balanced. Replace or repair damaged parts.
    FIG. 10

  • Be sure to fit the blades with the edges pointing in the correct direction of rotation. Tighten the blades to 20 Nm.
