HOW TO USE THE HAND BLENDER/ WHISK ATTACHMENT
WARNING Cut Hazard. Always inspect attachments before each use. Do not use cracked, bent, or damaged attachments.

  • The hand blender is not designed for use over a heat source.
  • This appliance is not intended to chop ice. Add ice to beverage after blending.
  • Do not immerse the motor housing past the top metal portion of each blending attachment.
  1. Place food in the beaker for blending. For best results, solid foods should be no larger than 1-inch (2.5-cm) chunks.
  2. Attach blending or whisk attachment to the motor housing. Hold the hand blender upright and turn the motor housing clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen while holding the attachment.
  3. Plug into an outlet.
  4. Grasp unit in hand. Push the speed control button. Slowly move the attachment up, down, and sideways through the food.
  5. Do not immerse the motor housing past the top metal portion of each blending attachment.
  6. Unplug from the outlet when not in use.

HOW TO USE THE CHOPPER

  1. Place chopping blade into a bowl, ensuring the blade is seated securely. Put food into a chopper bowl and place the motor housing on top, lining up the plastic notches. Twist clockwise to locked position.
  2. Choose the desired chopping speed (I or II) and process until the food has reached the desired consistency. Running the chopper continuously will yield smoother food consistency, while pulsing will yield chunkier results.
  3. The rubber lid/base may also be used as a nonskid base under the chopper while in use.
  4. Remove motor housing from the chopper and food from the chopping bowl. Unplug from the outlet when finished.

The chopper is intended for chopping ingredients such as nuts, meat, onions, boiled eggs, garlic, dry bread etc. Never allow the motor to run for more than 3 times, please take half an hour.

Helpful tips

  • To use the hand blender in a saucepan, be sure to remove the pan from the stove.
  • To puree foods, liquid is needed. Add cooking liquid, broth, juice, milk, or cream until the desired consistency is reached.
  • For thorough blending, move the hand blender up and down in the mixture until smooth.
  • To achieve best-blending results, use deep, tall containers.
  • For easy cleanup, unplug the hand blender and rinse attachments under running water immediately after use.

CLEAN AND MAINTAIN

  1. Unplug the unit from the outlet.
  2. Remove the attachment from the motor housing. Wash the attachment in hot, soapy water. Rinse; then dry. Blending attachments may also be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher.

WARNING Electric Shock Hazard. Never hold the motor housing portion of the hand blender under running water. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth.
