Product Information
- The 24V Seamless COB LED Strip is a versatile lighting solution that provides seamless illumination. It features a self-adhesive backing for easy installation on clean, non-porous surfaces. The strip has a length of 5 meters and is IP rated for protection against dust and water.
- The LED strip is powered by a 24V voltage and has a beam angle that ensures wide coverage. It utilizes COB (Chip-on-Board) technology for high-quality lighting. The strip has a colour temperature that can be specified according to your preference, and it offers excellent colour rendering index.
- With its cut points at 4.5cm intervals, the COB strip can be easily customized to fit any desired length. It can be reconnected by soldering wires from + to + and – to – at the cut points. The strip comes with accessories for easy reconnection.
- To ensure the best protection for the LED strip, it is recommended to insert it into one of our Aluminum Profiles.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that installation of the COB Strip is done by competent electrical installers, following relevant electrical safety procedures.
- Clean the surface where the strip will be installed to ensure proper adhesion.
- Peel off the backing of the strip to expose the self-adhesive side.
- Carefully attach the strip to the clean, non-porous surface, ensuring it is aligned correctly.
- If less than 5m of tape is needed, locate the solder points at 4.5cm intervals and cut the strip to the desired length.
- To reconnect cut strips, solder a wire from + to + and a wire from – to – at the cut points. Use the supplied accessories if available.
- If using a 2.1mm DC jack socket for power input, connect the power supply to the jack socket. Alternatively, strip the connector and connect the bare wires to the power supply.
- If connecting multiple reels of tape, plug the 2.1mm DC jack plug of the next reel into the end of the first reel.
- For longer lengths exceeding 25m, run a parallel wire from the power supply to the additional reels of tape.
- Ensure that the power supply has higher capacity in Amps (A) than the rated current required for the installed length(s) of COB Strip.
- If using controllers or amplifiers/repeaters, ensure they have adequate capacity for the tape being controlled.
- Refer to the provided table or visit www.avsl.com to select a suitable 24Vdc power supply for powering the COB Strip.
At the end of its useful life, dispose of this product according to your local
council guidelines as it is classified as Electrical or Electronic equipment.

Introduction
Lyyt Seamless COB LED Strip provides a continuous ‘no spot’ linear lighting solution. The COB (chip on board) technology consists of 528 tightly packed LED’s per metre and a phosphor layer coating which diffuses the LED’s into a seamless array of light. The flexible COB strip is supplied on a 5m reel and can be cut to desired length along the designated cutting points, the strip is equipped with an adhesive backing for easy installation. The 24Vdc COB strip has a high CRI of 90 making it suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as in hospitality, retail, offices, displays, exhibitions and more. IP20 versions are for indoor use only.

Installation
- Installation of this COB Strip should be carried out by competent electrical installers, observing the relevant electrical safety procedures. Lyyt COB Strip has a self-adhesive backing to allow it to be easily attached to a clean, non-porous surface.
- Where less than 5m of tape is needed, there are solder points as shown below, where the tape may be cut to size. These cut points are at 4.5cm intervals. To re-connect to another length of tape after cutting, solder a wire from “+” to “+” and a wire from “-” to “-” as shown below. Some accessories are supplied with the tape reel for this purpose. For best protection of this tape, we recommend inserting the tape into one of our Aluminum Profiles.
- Each 5m reel of COB Strip is fitted with a 2.1mm DC jack socket for power input for easy connection to a power supply. This connector may be removed and stripped for bare wire connection if a 2.1mm jack is not fitted to the power supply.
- If the power supply has enough capacity to power more than one reel, another reel can be connected to the end of the first reel via the 2.1mm DC jack plug.
- For 24V COB Strip, up to 25m can be linked in this way. Using a separate wire to loop “+” and “-” back to the power supply will help to avoid dimming at the far end through voltage drop. To connect beyond these lengths, a parallel wire must be run from the power supply to the further reels of tape.
- It is imperative that the power supply should have higher than the rated capacity in Amps (A) for the current required to power the length(s) of COB Strip installed. Likewise, if controllers and amplifiers/repeaters are used, these must have adequate capacity for the tape being controlled. Please see the table below for reference.
