OVERVIEW

OPERATION

Power On/Off

• The earbuds enter pairing mode when the lid of the charging case is opened.
• The earbuds turn off when they are placed in the charging case and the lid is closed.
• The earbuds turn off when they are out of the case and Bluetooth is not connected for more than 5 minutes.

Charging the Earbuds

• When the earbuds are low in battery, the indicator on the earbuds will flash red twice every 30 seconds.
• Place the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid to charge the earbuds. The indicator will turn off after 2 seconds.

Charging the Case

• After the charging case is opened or the earbuds are placed in the charging case, if the battery level is greater than 0 but less than or equal to 10%, the indicators will flash 4 times as a low battery warning.
• To charge the case, connect the USB-C end of the provided charging cable to the USB-C port on the charging case, then connect the USB-A end to a power adapter (not provided).

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Prepare the Earbuds: Open the lid of the charging case to access the earbuds.
2. Access Bluetooth Settings: On your device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu. Look for the option labelled ‘Kogan Open Ear TWS’ and select it.
3. Enter TWS Pairing Mode: If you need to pair the earbuds again, follow these steps:
   a. Tap both earbuds eight times. This action will reset the TWS connection in both earbuds.
   b. After resetting, the earbuds will enter TWS pairing mode. This mode is only accessible when the earbuds are not connected to your phone and are removed from the charging case.
   c. Once TWS pairing is complete, the earbuds will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. In this mode, both the left and right earbud indicators will alternately flash red and white.

Automatic Reconnection
When the charging case is opened, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to paired Bluetooth devices.

Unpairing

• When the Bluetooth device exceeds the range of the earbud connection and cannot be reconnected within 20 seconds, the earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
• Manually unpair Bluetooth devices, such as mobile phones, to enter pairing mode.
• If pairing connection is not successful within 5 minutes, the earbuds will automatically shut down.
• After clearing the paired list on your device, the earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode. If there is no pairing connection for 5 minutes, the earbuds will automatically shut down and the next time they are turned on, they will also automatically enter pairing mode.
• After the earbuds run out of power and are turned off, the Bluetooth connection is disconnected.
• Press and hold the earbud touch area for 4 seconds to turn them off. After turning them off, the Bluetooth connection is disconnected.

Mute

• When one or both left or right earbuds are placed inside the charging case without the case being closed, the volume of those earbuds inside the case is muted, and they are not being charged.
• However, the earbuds outside the case continue to function normally. If they were previously connected as slave devices, they automatically switch to being the master device.
• Once you remove the earbuds from the case, playback resumes as usual without any interruption.

Touch Operation
Incoming Calls:

• Answer: Tap either side of the earbud touch area.
• Reject: Press and hold either side of the earbud touch area for 2 seconds.
• End: Double tap on either side of the earbud touch area.

Music:

• Play: Double tap either side of the earbud touch area to play music.
• Pause: Tap either side of the earbud touch area to pause music.
• Previous song: Triple tap the L earbud touch area to play the previous song.
• Next song: Triple tap the R earbud touch area to play the next song.

Gaming:

• When the earbuds are powered on, they will be in Music mode by default.
• Press and hold the R earbud touch area for 2 seconds to enter Gaming mode.
• Press and hold the R earbud touch area again for 2 seconds to enter Music mode.

Voice Assistant:

• Voice assistant will be in standby mode when the earbuds are paired to a device.
• Press and hold the L earbud touch area for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant.
