TIPS FOR WORKING
- The burs will pull the rudder forward during the operation, push the upper handle to lower the burs slowly.
- By pulling the rudder back, the burs will dig deeper and more aggressively.
- To break up the ground or perform deep ploughing, let the burs pull the rudder forward to the end of your arm’s reach, then pull the rudder firmly towards you. By repeating the forward movement of the rudder and then pulling the rudder back, the work will be more effective.
- If the cutters sink deep enough to get stuck, move the handle gently from side to side to move the machine forward again.
- To prepare the sowing field, we recommend using one of the following tillage patterns:
- 1. Tilling pattern A: Make two passes over the area to be ploughed, the second at a right angle to the first.
- 2. Tilling pattern B: Make two passes over the area to be ploughed, the second one overlapping the first one.
- Always allow the cutters to rotate at maximum speed; do not work in such a way as to overload the machine.
- When working on slopes, always stand diagonally to the slope in a robust and safe position. Do not work on extremely steep slopes.
MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION: Make sure the machine is completely turned off before performing any maintenance or repairs. This will eliminate any potential risk. The machine is set at the factory. Do not make unnecessary adjustments, adjust only when necessary due to normal wear.
CLEANING GUIDELINES
ATTENTION: Do not use solvents, chemicals or abrasives when cleaning the machine, as some surfaces may be damaged.
- Clean the bottom of the housing around the burs and the protective shield and wing with a scrubbing brush, and a soft brush or cloth moistened with a mild soap and water mixture.
- To remove soil and debris from the strawberries and the transmission, use a hard brush or a damp cloth.
- Clean the fan and remove any grass or dirt.
- After cleaning, wipe the burs and shaft, dry them and apply a light coat of oil.
