PRODUCT USE
ATTENTION
To avoid injury from accidental starts, always turn off the machine and
disconnect it from the power supply before moving it or making adjustments.
BEFORE USING
ATTENTION
Be sure to use an extension cable suitable for outdoor use (H05VV-F 2X0.75mm2)
attached to the power supply through a leakage protection system (RCD).
- Place the safety harness on your left shoulder.
- Connect the machine to the extension cable and then to the power supply.
USE OF THE METAL BLADE
- Always cut from right to left.
- A metal blade cuts better if it is kept at a distance of 1/3 of the edge. Use this area to cut bushes and weeds. For cutting fresh grass, you can approach up to 2/3 of the blade tip.
- Always allow the nylon line/cutting blade to turn at maximum speed; do not work in such a way as to overload the mower/brushcutter.
USE OF THE SEMI-AUTOMATIC REEL
- Nylon yarn uses more power. Please note that the rotation speed of the motor in operation will be 50% higher than when using a metal blade.
- The nylon cutter cuts the grass with the same power of rotation of the cord. If you try to cut the grass by the length of the cord in one go, the rotation speed will decrease due to the resistance and you will not be able to make a good cut. If there is more resistance, quickly move the nylon mower away from the grass, increase the rotation speed and cut small amounts of grass in one go.
- To extend the reel string, run the engine at full speed and hit the reel regulator on the ground. This will automatically extend the nylon line.
MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION
Make sure the machine is completely turned off before performing any
maintenance or repairs. This will eliminate any potential risk. The machine is
set at the factory. Do not make unnecessary adjustments, adjust only when
necessary due to normal wear.
CLEANING GUIDELINES
ATTENTION
Do not use solvents, chemicals or abrasives when cleaning the machine, as some
surfaces may be damaged.
- Use gloves or appropriate tools for cleaning. Do not do it with unprotected hands.
- Clean the machine after each use to ensure the best performance and durability.
- It is recommended that the machine be raised when checking or maintaining the lower part of the cover, avoiding tilting it so that fuel or oil does not spill.
- Use a slightly damp cloth, water and mild detergent for cleaning.
- Use a brush for the parts or pieces that are difficult to access.
- Make sure that all ventilation slots designed for heat dispersion are clean and free from obstructions or residues.
- Remove grass clippings, dirt, etc. from the underside of the cover and blades (the wash function on some models makes this task easier).
- It is recommended to put a little oil on the blades after each use to avoid corrosion.
- Make sure all hoppers and covers are clean and unobstructed.
- Make sure all cables, levers, switches, etc. are clean and working as they should and without problems.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The table includes some of the most common problems, their causes, and remedies.
NOTE : If you are unable to resolve the problem, please contact the Official Technical Service.
