- This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.
- Farmhouses and by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments.
- Bed and breakfast type environments.

- When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons or property.
- Adult supervision is required at all times when children are around the appliance.
- This appliance supports voltages between 220–240V with a frequency of 50Hz. Ensure the outlet used matches this.
- Do not place the appliance under direct sunlight or other heat sources.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Ensure there is at least a 10cm clearance on all sides of the appliance from any walls or obstructions.
- Do not place this appliance on uneven surfaces.
- Ensure the appliance is only plugged into properly polarised outlets.
- Ensure no other appliance is plugged into the same outlet.

- This appliance must be earthed.
- This appliance must be properly grounded for user safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with the standard three-prong wall outlets to minimise the possibility of electric shock.
- Ensure the power cord is fitted securely into the outlet.
- Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat-insulating surfaces.
- Do not cover the power cord. Ensure it is visible at all times to prevent a tripping hazard.
- Keep the power cord away from high traffic areas.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use an extension cord with this appliance as it may cause overheating and a risk of fire.
- Ensure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before cleaning and when not in use.

OVERVIEW

BEFORE USE
Unpacking
Remove the exterior and interior packaging, ensuring the ice cube basket is
inside. If any components are missing, contact help.Kogan.com for assistance.
- Clean the interior with diluted detergent, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth.
- Use the water to rinse the interior, then unplug the water drain cap to drain out the water.
- Clean the exterior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water.
- Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
- Remove the ice cube basket and clean with water.
Placement
Place the appliance on a flat, dry surface. Ensure there is at least a 10cm
clearance around all sides of the appliance, away from walls and other
obstructions. The power cord and outlet should be easily accessible. Wait for
one hour to allow the refrigerant liquid to settle before use.
Note: During winter, allow the appliance a few hours to warm to room temperature before plugging in.
Placing the water bottle
Ensure the water drain cap is securely fastened. Hold the water bottle (not
included) upside down vertically and place it into the bottle probe on the
appliance. Apply slight pressure to pierce the bottle cap onto the probe
.
Notes:
- Ensure the cap on the bottle is compatible with the dimensions of the bottle probe as seen above.
- This appliance is compatible with bottles between 7.5–19L in capacity that have pierceable sealed caps.
- Ensure the water used is between 8–32°C.
OPERATION
Ensure there is at least a 10cm clearance around all sides of the appliance, away from walls and other obstructions.
Powering
Plug the power cord into an exclusive grounded wall outlet, then turn on the
outlet. The appliance will then enter standby.
Note:
Do not cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any
questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a
certified electrician.
Making ice cubes
- Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to begin the ice-making cycle.
- Press the select button to choose the size of the ice cubes (small, medium, large). The relevant ice cube indicator will illuminate.
- One ice-making cycle lasts between 6–15 minutes. This variability depends on the ice cube size selected and the ambient temperature. Once complete, the ice cubes will enter the ice cube basket and the ice-making cycle will automatically repeat.
- Once you have the desired amount of ice cubes, pull out the ice cube basket and use the ice scoop to collect the ice cubes.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the appliance.
Note: During extreme temperatures, the ice-making cycle may differ significantly.
Add water indicator
If the water pump is unable to pump sufficient water, the appliance will stop
automatically. The add water indicator will also illuminate.
- Replace the water bottle with a new one filled with water.
- Press the ON/OFF button to resume making ice.
If a new bottle has been inserted but the add water indicator is still illuminated and the water pump is not working properly, check on the water filters.
Water filters in the tank:
- Pull out the ice cube basket. The water filters are circular and are located at the bottom of the water tank.
- Remove the filters by hand and clean them with water. Once cleaned, reattach the filters.
Water filter connected to the pipe: A qualified professional will be required to remove this water filter.
- Open the top cover and locate the water pipe.
- Release the hose clamp then unplug the water pipe to reveal the water filter.
- Remove the water filter by hand and clean it with water.
- Once cleaned, reattach the water filter. Secure the water pipe with the hose clamp and replace the top cover.
Ice full indicator
If the ice cube basket becomes full, the appliance will stop automatically.
The ice full indicator will illuminate to alert users. Pull out the ice cube
basket then use the ice scoop to collect ice.
Dispensing water
Water dispensed from the appliance will only be cold after the ice-making
cycle has operated for at least 30 minutes.
- Press the cold water tap button to pop out the cold water tap.
- Hold a cup under the tap.
- Press and hold the water dispensing button to dispense cold water from the tap. Release the button when the cup has been filled.
CLEANING & CARE
Ensure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before cleaning. Cleaning should be done regularly to ensure proper hygiene.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Using a soft cloth, clean the interior with a solution of diluted detergent and lukewarm water.
- Use the water to rinse the interior, then unplug the water drain cap to drain out the water.
- Clean the exterior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water.
- Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
- Remove the ice cube basket and clean.
