Product Usage Instructions

Before Installation:

  1. Ensure all modifications are done by qualified personnel and comply with local regulations.
  2. Refer to the OE Service Manual for proper disassembly/reassembly procedures.
  3. Keep stock hardware for future use.
  4. Measure the vehicle’s attitude before installation as final ride height may vary.
  5. The kit adds 2.5 inches of lift in the front end to even out ride height.

Front Installation:

  1. Park on a clean, level surface, block rear wheels, and apply the parking brake.
  2. Jack up the front, support the axle, and remove wheels and tires.
  3. For 2011-2016, remove brake line spring clip from frame bracket; for 2017-up, remove brake line brackets from frame and axle.
  4. Remove bottom shock from axle bracket on both sides.
  5. Remove sway bar from the frame and lower the jack slowly to drop down the axle.
  6. Remove track bar and factory track bar bracket; install new bracket with factory hardware.
  7. Install shock extension to axle mount and shock to extension on both sides. Torque all bolts to spec.
  8. Install sway bar drop brackets to frame, then sway bar to drop brackets using provided hardware.
  9. Reattach factory brake line bracket on the axle with factory hardware.
  10. For 2011-2016 front brake line, install provided brake line extension bracket to frame with factory hardware; reconnect ABS line without clipping back to fender liner.
  11. For 2017-up front brake line, install provided bracket to factory brake line using provided bolts, washers, and nuts.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

  1. All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.
  2. Prepare OE Service Manual for the model/year of the vehicle. Refer to the manual for proper disassembly/reassembly procedures of OE and related components.
  3. Keep the stock hardware for future installations.
  4. The amount of lift is a base figure due to payload options and initial ride height variances. Final ride height dimensions may vary. Always measure the attitude before beginning installation.
  5. This kit adds 2.5″ of lift in the front end and helps to even out the ride height from front to rear

INSTRUCTIONS-FRONT

  1. Park the vehicle on a clean, level surface and block the rear wheels for safety.Apply the parking brake.

  2. Jack up the front of the vehicle and place safety jacks under each frame rail behind the lower control arms. Remove the wheels and tires and use a jack to support the axle.

  3. For 2011-2016, remove brake line spring clip from frame bracket. For 2017-up, remove brake line brackets from frame and axle.

  4. Remove the bottom shock from the axle bracket. Repeat on the opposite side.

  5. Remove the sway bar from the frame.

  6. Lower the jack slowly to drop down the axle. Remove the springs from the vehicle. Install the provided spring isolator, spring spacer, and the factory isolator onto the spring. Raise the axle enough to hold the spring assembly in place. Repeat on the opposite side.

  7. Remove the factory bump stop with a screwdriver. Remove the cap that holds the bump stop in. Install the spacer provided on the top of the cap with provided M81.2570 bolt and M8 washer. Reinstall the assembly on the frame. Reinstall the factory bump stop. Repeat on the opposite side.

  1. Remove the track bar from the track bar bracket. Remove the factory track bar bracket by loosening 5 bolts and nuts. Install the new bracket with factory hardware and torque them to factory spec.

  1. Install the shock extension to the axle mount with factory hardware. Make sure the offset hole is towards the rear of the axle. Install the shock to the extension with provided M14270 bolt, washer and nut. Repeat on the opposite side. Torque all bolts and nuts to spec.
  2. Install the sway bar drop brackets to the frame with factory hardware. Install the sway bar to the drop brackets using provided M101.540 bolts, washers and nuts.
  3. Reattach the factory brake line bracket on the axle with factory hardware.

  1. 2011-2016 front brake line installation: Install the provided brake line extension bracket to the frame with factory hardware. Install the brake line block using the factory clip. Reconnect the ABS line. Do not clip back to fender liner.
  2. 2017 -UP front brake line: Install the provided bracket to the factory brake line using the provided M81.2520 bolts (with the bolt facing outwards), washers and nuts. Gently pull the metal brake line down while lining up the provided bracket to the original holes in the frame. Install using factory hardware.
  3. Put the wheels and tires on. Remove the jack and jack stands. Lower the vehicle to the ground. Remember to install the track bar to the track bar drop bracket.

AFTER INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE

  • Check all bolts and nuts for proper torque. Check to ensure there is adequate clearance between all rotating, mobile, fixed and heated members. Check steering for interference and proper working order. Test brake system.
  • Perform a steering sweep and check for interference between the tires and brake hose by turning the wheels left and right, checking the distance between the tire sidewall and brake hose. and proper working order. Test brake system.
  • An alignment by a certified alignment professional with experience in aligning lifted vehicles must be performed.
  • Readjust headlights to proper settings
  • Check hardware after the first 500 miles and then every 1000 miles.
