SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on purchasing the J2800 Challenger Scooter Trailer. Please follow the instructions in this manual before use and retain for future reference.
WARNING! Failure to follow the instructions herein may cause danger to life, limb or damage to property.

  1. Make sure your mobility device is suitable for towing the J2800 Trailer in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Always check to make sure that all hardware is tight and secure.
  3. Make sure all components are in good condition and proper working order.
  4. Due to the additional weight and length of the trailer being added to the mobility device, a scooter pulling a trailer is less responsive in some operational situations. When riding with a trailer, be aware that the braking distance, and turning radius, especially when driving downhill, are greater than when driving without one. Experiment with the attached trailer in a safe place until you become familiar with it.
  5. The cover must always be properly attached to the box during operation.
  6. Trailer net weight: 22 lbs.
  7. Trailer maximum load capacity: 66 lbs.
  8. Tire Pressure 30psi nominal. 36 psi Maximum.
  9. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the trailer.
