Tools required:

a. Drive Socket Ratchet Wrench;
b. 4mm & 5mm Torx Bit Socket;
c. 5.5mm, 10mm, 13mm Wrench;
d. Phillips Screwdriver;
e. Scissors;

Installation time:

About 2 hours, 2-3 people may be needed. Installation time may differ according to your mechanical skill level.

Installation instruction:

Step 1: Remove the factory brake light (Don’t destroy those wire) and the spare tire. Keep those factory bolts, you will use them in the next steps. In the upcoming installation, please be sure to pay careful attention. Regardless of where the rubber washer is installed, it must be placed on the product surface to provide waterproofing.

Step 2: Firstly, you need to complete the internal storage functionality of the box by installing the relevant accessories. To install the divider panel (2) & the divider panel connect bracket with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Split Lock Washer (D6), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6).

Step 3: Next, install the right-side bracket with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M820), Rubber Washer (M8202),Flat Washer (M820), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M8).

Step 4: Now it’s time to install the external accessories, to install the Stainless Steel Lock with the Phillips Machine Screws (M312), Flat Washer (M37), Rubber Washer (M381), Hex Nuts (M3). Don’t tighten up those bolts.

Step 5: Next, to install the hinge with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Split Lock Washer (D6), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6). In this step, only two screws need to be installed for each hinge. Don’t tighten up those bolts. After completing this step, both the internal and external accessories of the box have been successfully installed.

Step 6: Now it’s time to install the relevant accessories for the box cover.
Before proceeding, please install the license plate light onto the license plate light installation bracket with the Phillips Machine Screws (M312), Flat Washer (M37), Rubber Washer (M381), Hex Nuts (M3).

Step 7: To assemble the license plate light installation bracket & the license plat bracket with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6).

Step 8: You can now begin installing the relevant accessories for the cover. To install the handle with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6).

Step 9: Next, to install the license plate bracket into the box cover with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6). During installation, make sure to thread the license plate light’s wire through the small hole on the cover first.

Step 10: To install the lock with the Phillips Machine Screws (M312), Flat Washer (M37), Rubber Washer (M381), Hex Nuts (M3). Don’t tighten up those bolts. Ensure that they keep on the same horizontal line.

Step 11: Install the hinge in the step 5 to connect the box and the cover with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Split Lock Washer (D6), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M612*2), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6). Tighten up those bolts.

Step 12: To install the Stainless Steel Lanyard Cable in the both sides. Use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M6*16), Split Lock Washer (D6), Flat Washer (M6), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6). Tighten up those bolts.

Step 13: Put the rubber strip into the box cover. Ensure that the starting and ending positions are facing downwards.

Step 14: Glue the camera bracket EVA into the box cover. And then install the camera into the camera bracket with the Cross Recessed Round Head Tapping Screw (PA26) (as the the picture shown). Connect the camera extension cable and the camera, through the cable into the box cover. Install the camera bracket into the box cover with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M616), Split Lock Washer (D6), Flat Washer (M6), Rubber Washer (M6122), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M6).

Step 15: At last, install the box in your vehicle. You should install the mounting brackets into your tailgate with the factory bolts (the upper two bolts needn’t install first).

Step 16: Put the brake light bracket into the mounting bracket and install the factory brake light into it with the factory bolts.

Step 17: Lift up the box and install it into your vehicle with the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M820), Rubber Washer (M8202),Flat Washer (M820), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M8).

Wire Connection Instructions:
License plate light connection
Remove the factory tail light and find the factory vehicle wiring harness.
Identify the positive and negative terminals within the harness. Connect them using the provided yellow wire and then thread it along the tailgate, passing it out. Route the wire into the box through the wiring channel and connect the positive and negative terminals of the license plate light (can use the Wire Connectors). The negative terminal can be fixed to the vehicle.

Factory camera connection
Fix the camera extension cable in the box with the wire clips. Through it into the hole in the bottom of box. Reconnect the camera cable. Use electrical tape to protect the connection terminals.

Step 18:
