Product Information

The S-1200 series glass fillers are stainless steel products manufactured by T&S Brass and Bronze Works, Inc. These products come with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is only applicable to the original purchaser (not for purposes of resale).

If the product is found to be defective during the warranty period, T&S shall, at its options, repair and/or replace it. To obtain warranty service, the product must be returned to T&S Brass and Bronze Works, Inc. at the address mentioned in the manual. The warranty does not cover any express warranty not provided in the manual or any remedy for breach of contract which might arise. Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the warranty period provided on the product.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works, Inc. shall not be liable for loss of use or any special consequential costs, expenses, or damages. Specific rights under this warranty and other rights vary from state to state. The product can expose California residents to chemicals including lead, chromium (hexavalent compounds), and phthalates (DEHP) which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Product Usage

1. Turn off water supply and drain lines. Hand tighten no.9 firmly against no.1 and remove no.10 from no.4.
2. Drill a 7/8 inch hole in the sheet metal. Insert no.1 through the hole and screw no.10 on the back of no.1, leaving no.9 free to turn.
3. Apply Teflon tape or pipe joint compound to threads of water supply line. Connect no.1 to water supply line outlet, tightening as far as possible.
4. Tighten no.9 and no.10 so they are flush against the surface of the sink back.
5. Turn on water supply and check for leaks.

Note: Specific items required for S-1200 are 4, 9-10.

Instruction

Instruction S-1200:

1. Turn off the water supply and drain lines. Hand tighten no.9 firmly against no.1 and remove no.10 from no.4.
2. Drill a 7/8” hole in sheet metal. Insert no.1 through the hole and screw no.10 on the back of no.1, leaving no.9 free to turn.
3. Apply Teflon tape or pipe joint compound to threads of the water supply line. Connect no.1 to the water supply line outlet, tightening as far as possible.
4. Tighten no.9 and no.10 so they are flush against the surface of the sink back.
5. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Flow Adjustment:
To adjust water flow, use included T-45 Torx wrench & inserting it into no.16 Turn clockwise to increase water flow, and turn counterclockwise to reduce water flow.

Installation S-1210:

1. Turn off the water supply and drain lines.
2. Unscrew and remove no.12 and no.13 from no.5. Position no.11 to cover threads of no.5.
3. Place no.5 through 7/8” holes in the countertop. Replace no.12 and no.13 with no.5 and tighten with a wrench at the bottom side of the countertop.
4. Apply Teflon tape or pipe joint compound to threads of no.5, and connect to the water supply line inlet.
5. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

To adjust water flow see the flow adjustment note for the S-1200 model.

For Retro-Fit of Glass Filler Only

1. Turn off the water supply and drain lines.
2. Heat the cube & unscrew the glass filler from the cube.
3. Apply Loctite 680, Teflon tape, or joint compound to the threads of no.1. Screw into a cube of no.5, then align and tighten no.1. Let Loctite 680 sit for 20 minutes.
4. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

For Glass Filler Valve Repair Kit

1. Unscrew no.15 with a flathead screwdriver.
2. Remove no.14 spring.
3. Place new no.15 and no.14 into no.1.
4. Screw no.15 until flush with no.1.

Shipping, freight, insurance, and other transportation charges of the product to T&S and the return of repaired or replaced product to the purchaser are the responsibility of the purchaser. Repair and/or replacement shall be made within a reasonable time after receipt by T&S of the returned product. This warranty does not cover Items which have received secondary finishing or have been altered or modified after purchase, or for defects caused by physical abuse to or misuse of the product, or shipment of the products.

Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy for Breach of Contract which might arise, is hereby excluded and disclaimed. Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the warranty period provided on the product. Under no circumstances shall T&S be liable for loss of use or any special consequential costs, expenses or damages.
