- Hold the main shaft with one wrench and twist the nut with another wrench to push in the bearing race.
- Use the horseshoe-bearing plate to ensure correct positioning.
Notes

INSTRUCTIONS
- Fix the harley transmission on the table. Assemble the product as shown, making sure the horseshoe bearing plate is fully secured behind the bearing race.
- The working load of this tool is about 50 LBF and we can set the torque wrench at 40 LBF. With a wrench clamp on the puller bar, the torque wrench twists the top of the stew. As the torque wrench is twisted, the bearing race is pulled out.
- Unscrew the arbor, insert the drive spool through the cam housing hole, and screw both together. Insert the arbor into the cam bearing and secure the spool stabilizer in another cam housing hole.
- Put the bearing race into the main shaft, extension twisted into the main shaft threads, then put on the pusher tube and flat washer, and twist on the nut in turn.
- One wrench holds the main shaft and another wrench twists the nut. As the nut is twisting, the bearing race is pushed in. Finally, we can use the horseshoe-bearing plate to determine the correct position.
NOTE
- If you have an older transmission and you can’t get the tool in behind the bearing race. So you can remove the side cover of the transmission, then loosen the nut on the main shaft, put the transmission in neutral, take a soft hammer, and tap on the main shaft.
- Then you can slide the main shaft over to the right place.
- Before use, lubricant can be applied to the threaded area to improve the smoothness of use and extend thread life.
