ALL REQUIRED TOOLS

• Alcohol based cleaner & microfiber towel

• Gloves

• Sharp blade

• Roller

Removing the Door Panel

1. Start by locating the fastening hardware on the door panel, take the appropriate screwdriver and remove.

2. Once all the screws are removed you can take off the door panel gently watching that you don’t break any of the clips or mounting hardware

3. Pull the panel away slowly and unplug any electrical connections
   Applying the Wavy Foam

4. Once the door panel is removed the speaker now needs to be removed and unplugged to clear the opening.

5. Behind the speakers should be a metal surface that needs to be wiped free of any debris like oil, dust, moisture

6. Once cleaned and dried apply the wavy foam backing square on the metal surface.

7. Remove the backing paper and start from the top down
   a. You can use a roller to minimize any trapped air pockets

8. Reinstall the speaker inside the door

9. Wipe down the surround or trim of the speaker plate to be free of any debris like oil, dust, moisture

10. Once cleaned and dried, take one foam strip and measure around the speaker plate.

11. Cut to fit with a pair of scissors

12. Remove the backing paper and apply to the speaker trim

13. Replace the door panel being careful not to pinch any wires as you reattach
