INSTALLATION
step 1. Bolt Removal
There are two bolts on the kick panel that attach the plastic floor panels to
the chassis of the vehicle. The bottom bolt will need to be removed.
NOTE: This install process is the same for both sides of the vehicle.
(passenger and driver) Step 2. Position the enclosure over the threaded
stud and plastic bosses, ensuring the cable is unobstructed for proper
routing.
Step 3. Be sure to line up the holes before inserting mounting screws and tightening.
Step 4. Unwrap the factory tape and pull the wire grommet out of the firewall. Step 5. Pull the POWER ,GROUND and ACC. wires through the rubber grommet and feed through the hole in the firewall to the power strip located on the opposite side of the firewall.
Step 6. To complete the wiring installation, begin under the hood against the top firewall. Unscrew the nut on the first-position terminal (12v accessory), attach the Red ACC wire, and securely re-screw the nut. Move to the second-position terminal, unscrew the nut, attach the Black GROUND wire, and re-screw the nut tightly. For the third-position terminal, unscrew the nut, connect the Yellow +12V(fu- sed) wire, and re-screw the nut securely. Tighten all nuts, ensuring a stable connection, and conclude by replacing any factory caps on wires for a polished and professional appearance.
Step 7. Pull all extra
wires through the grommet and tie wrap any loose cables. Tape the grommet
where the factory tape was and replace it in the firewall.
Step 8. Route the remaining wires according to installation diagram shown
above.
The installation is complete. Sit back and enjoy your new audio experience.
