Product Usage Instructions

• Installation Requirements:
  • For vehicles without a functional hood pin, the hood trigger must be set to OFF (Option A11).
  • The hood pin switch must be installed for proper operation.
  • Ensure that safety elements, including the hood pin, are installed correctly as they are mandatory for security.
• Operating Instructions:
  • The remote start will not operate if:
  • The hood is open or the switch is not present
  • The Check Engine light is ON
  • The Low fuel light is ON
• The vehicle battery voltage is too low
  • Caution: The remote start is limited to two consecutive Start or Stop commands. Ignition must be turned ON and OFF to use the remote again.
• Connections:
  • Refer to the provided diagram for proper connections of the various components.
  • Always ensure a direct connection with the data link.

• HOOD PIN
  • HOOD STATUS: THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE-STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, AND SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.
  • Notice: the installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
  • THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

NOTES

• THE REMOTE START WILL NOT OPERATE IF:
