Getting Started
Download Safety 1st App
Download the Safety 1st Connected app b y searching for Safety 1st in the app
store.
Setup
- Before mounting, pair the device and test its functionality as described in the following steps.
- Insert the USB cable into the adapter and plug the adapter into the wall outlet. The crib light will glow white.
- The crib light should be in pairing mode and will flash red . If it is not flashing red, perform the “To Reset Device” procedure.
- On your mobile device, follow the step-by-step instructions in the Safety 1st Connected app for setup.
- Once paired, the crib light will glow white.
- Explore the features and functionality within the Safety 1st Connected app.
- To install on acrid, disconnect from power. then follow “Flat Surface Mounting” instructions.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi internet connection is required.
Check the Wi-Fi signal strength from your router.
To reduce signal interference or echoes, avoid placing the cribligh t near
major electrical appliances, large metal or concrete surfaces.
To Reset Device
The device must be plugged in to the power source in order to reset. Press and
hold power button for 6 seconds to reset the device. The crib light will glow
red when the device is reset and ready to be paired in the app.

Flat Surface Mounting

Clean the desired mounting surface using a damp cloth, then dry, ensuring there is no dust or other residue.

Determine the center of the crib and lay out the crib light, cables, and cable management Clips. Make sure there will be enough cable to reach your nearest electrical outlet once the crib light is installed.

Apply 2 pieces of double- sided mounting tape to the the back of the cribligh and 2 pieces to the back of the control unit.

Adhere the cribligh to the underside of the crib.
Apply firm pressure against the crib light and mounting surface for 10 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.
Adhere the control unit to the side of the crib frame, nearest to the doorway so the m otionsensor can be promptly activated.

Use the included (6) cable management clips to keep cable off of the ground. Keep clips off of the ground and out of reach of children.
Power Button Functionality
With the unit ON and motion sensing disabled, each button press advances through the following modes:
- Lights OFF
- Lights ON with motion sensing enabled
- Lights ON with motion sensing disabled (always on)
- Back to 1)
Product FAQs
Is it safe to install on a crib or bed?****
-Yes. The under crib light is designed to be securely mounted with high-strength double-sided adhesive. Use included wire clips to fasten the light and cable off the ground.
How far away will motion be detected using the sensor?****
– In the app, you can select from three ranges; near, medium or far.

Can I pair my device with more than one account?****
– Sharing access to your device with other caregivers is easy. Access the
device settings screen, select “sharing & users” then tap “add a new user” and
complete the information.
– To pair the device with a new account owner, you must factory reset the
device by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Removal
To remove the crib light and control unit, carefully slide a piece of fishing
line or dental floss between the crib, crib light, and control unit.
Then, in a sawing motion, cut the adhesive away from the crib. Rub and roll
the remaining adhesive off of the crib, crib light, and control unit.
Note: You may also use the heat from a hair dryer on the lowest setting
to help soften the adhesive to aid in its removal from the crib. Before doing
so, remove all bedding and the mattress from the crib.
Disposal
Keep product away from hot, humid areas or strong sunlight, and do not let it
get wet.
Every effort has been made to ensure high standards of reliability of your
product.
However, if something does go wrong, please do not try to repair it yourself.
Contact Consumer Care for assistance.
At the end of the product life cycle, you should not dispose of this product
with normal household waste. Take this product to a collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
Some of the product materials can be reused if you take them to a recycling
point.
By reusing some parts or raw materials from used products you make an
important contribution to the protection of the environment. Please contact
your recycling center in case you need more information on the collection
points in your area.
WARNING:
- Adult installation is required. Keep small parts away from children when installing. Exercise care when unpacking the product.
- This product is intended to be attached UNDER the crib, where it is least likely to be accessed by the child when placed inside the crib.
- To prevent possible injury by entanglement, KEEP CHILDREN away from cords.
- DO NOT remove cable from crib light – it is not detachable.
CAUTION:
- These products are not toys. DO NOT allow children to play with them. DO NOT use product if damaged or broken.
THE USER SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO SERVICE OR REPAIR THE CRIB LIGHT. ALL SERVICING
SHOULD BE REFERRED TO CONSUMER CARE.
It is essential to check reception regularly. Crib light uses encrypted
transmission over FCC managed frequencies. Always remember to password protect
your Wi-Fi router.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- HEAT: The crib light should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat. Also keep these components out of direct sunlight.
- POWER CORD PROTECTION: The power supply cord should be routed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against it. Pay particular attention to the cord at the plug, convenience receptacle, and at the point it exits from the crib light.
