Ermenrich NG60 Gas Detector

Charging the device
- This device uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Connect the power cable to the device and the DC adapter via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the device.
- Fully charge for 6–8 hours. For fast charging, turn the device off. Working battery time is 16–18 hours.
- Always turn off your device before charging it. Do not charge the device in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Getting started
- Press the power button (5) and hold it for 3 seconds to turn the device on/off.
- The device will start the self-check: the LED indicators will blink twice, the device will emit a short vibration signal and then will beep twice. After the self-check, the device will display the preset information for low alarm value, high alarm value, and the detection range upper limit value for combustable gas, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide in sequence.
Settings
- Press the power button (5) to enter the menu, to enter a submenu, to confirm the selection, and to save changes. Press the left (4) and right (6) buttons to scroll through the menu.
- You can view and set the time and date, and you can view the battery status.
- You can set a 4-digit password to prevent the device from accidental operation.
Zero adjustment
- You can adjust the zero setting according to the actual detection value.
- Enter the zero trim submenu, select the gas type, the value, and unit of measurement. Then, save the adjusted value.
- For example, if the displayed value is 3 instead of 0, you can set –0004 and save this value: after that the displayed detection value will be 0.
Alarm records
You can view or clear the previous alarm records in the Alarm Rec (Alarm records) section of the menu.

To clear the alarm value, press the left button (4) and select OK. To cancel deletion, press the right button (6) and select Quit (Cancel).
Usage
Gas detection mode is set by default. The system returns to the gas detection mode after 5 seconds of idle time. The device will automatically analyze the gas environment and display the result on the screen.

Normal gas concentration
If the gas concentration is below the low alarm value, the detection result will be displayed on the screen. -
Abnormal gas concentration
If the gas concentration is above the alarm value, the LED indicators and the backlight will light on, the device will vibrate and emit a beeping sound, and the current detection value will be displayed on the screen.

Store the device in a dry cool place. Do not expose the device to shock, continuous vibrations, or extreme high or low temperatures. Do not try to disassemble the device on your own for any reason. For calibration, repairs and cleaning of any kind, please contact your local specialized service center. Protect the device from sudden impact and excessive mechanical force. Only use accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications.
- Always use only the recommended cleaning wipes and cleaning tools. Do not use any ethanol- or acetone-based fluids. Never attempt to operate a damaged device or a device with damaged electrical parts! If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Battery safety instructions
The device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This avoids frequent battery replacement. Always switch the device off when not in use.
