Product Usage Instructions

To use the Ermenrich Wett MW10 Moisture Detector, follow these steps:

  1. Insert batteries into the battery compartment (7).
  2. Press the POWER button (1) to turn on the device.
  3. Select the measurement mode for wood or building materials.
  4. Place the pins (6) of the device on the material to be measured.
  5. Wait for the current moisture value (5) to be displayed on the digital screen.
  6. Check the moisture indication (2, 3, 4) to determine if the moisture level is low, medium, or high.
  7. After 15 seconds of inactivity, the device will automatically turn off to conserve battery life.

Getting started

  • Open the battery compartment cover and insert a 9V battery. Close the cover.
  • Press the POWER button to turn the device on/off.

Settings

Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to enter the settings. Press it again to select the measurement mode. The setting order: wood moisture measurement -> building materials moisture measurement -> temperature measurement in Celsius (°C) -> temperature measurement in Fahrenheit (°F).

When the mode is set, the device exits the setting mode automatically.

Using

  • Carefully press the test pins into the material whose moisture level you wish to measure. The level will be displayed as a percentage.
