Getting started
- Open the battery compartment (5) and insert 2 AAA batteries according to the correct polarity. Close the cover.
- Press (4) to turn the device on/off.
Testing
Press (4) to turn the device on and then wait until the device emits a sound and the LED indicator (3) is steady green. This means that the device is ready to be used.
Using
Bring the sensor (1) to a cable, a wire or a socket. A low-pitched sound will be emitted and the LED indicator (3) will blink when it detects AC voltage in the 1248V range. A high-pitched sound will be emitted and the LED indicator (3) will light up when it detects AC voltage in the 481000V range.
Note! Random beeps and flashes may occur due to detection of static charges.
Flashlight
Press (4) and hold for 3 seconds to turn the flashlight on/off.
**** If the light is dim, please replace the batteries.

Care and maintenance

Battery safety instructions
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and ).
