Please carefully read the safety instructions and the user manual before using this product. Keep away from children. Use the device only as specified in the user manual.
The kit includes: gas detector, USB cable, adapter for charging, aluminum carry case, user manual, and warranty.

Charging the device

This device uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Connect the power cable to the device and the DC adapter via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the device. Fully charge for 6–8 hours. For fast charging, turn the device off.
Do not charge the device in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Getting started
Press the power button (5) and hold it for 3 seconds to turn the device on/off.
The device will start the self-check: the LED indicators will blink twice, the device will emit a short vibration signal and then will beep twice. After the self-check, the device will display the preset information for low alarm value, high alarm value, and the detection range upper limit value.

Settings
Press the power button (5) to enter the menu, to enter a submenu, to confirm the selection, and to save changes. Press the left (4) and right (6) buttons to scroll through the menu. You can view and set the time and date, and you can view the battery status.
You can set a 4-digit password to prevent the device from accidental operation.

Zero adjustment

  • You can adjust the zero setting according to the actual detection value.
  • Enter the zero trim submenu, select the gas type, the value, and unit of measurement. Then, save the adjusted value.
  • For example, if the displayed value is 3 instead of 0, you can set –0004 and save this value: after that the displayed detection value will be 0.

Alarm value setting
You can set the low alarm values and the high alarm values for the device to generate the audible and visible alarm signal when the gas concentration exceeds the set alarm values.

Usage
Gas detection mode is set by default. The system returns to the gas detection mode after 5 seconds of idle time. The device will automatically analyze the gas environment and display the result on the screen.

Normal gas concentration
If the gas concentration is below the low alarm value, the detection result will be displayed on the screen.

Abnormal gas concentration

If the gas concentration is above the alarm value, the LED indicators and the backlight will light on, the device will vibrate and emit a beeping sound, and the current detection value will be displayed on the screen.

Gas type| Detection range| Accuracy| Low alarm| High alarm| Resolution
---|---|---|---|---|---
Oxygen| 0–30% vol.| ±3%| 19.5% vol.| 23.5% vol.| 0.1% vol.
Flammable gas| 0–100% LEL| ±3%| 20% LEL| 50% LEL| 1% LEL
Carbon monoxide| 0–1000ppm| ±3%| 50ppm| 150ppm| 1ppm
Hydroge sulfide| 0–100ppm| ±3%| 10ppm| 20ppm| 1/0.1ppm
Ammonia| 0–100ppm| ±3%| 20ppm| 50ppm| 1/0.1ppm
Hydrogene| 0–1000ppm| ±3%| 200ppm| 500ppm| 1/0.1ppm

Nitrogene dioxide| 0–20ppm| ±3%| 5ppm| 10ppm| 1/0.1ppm

The display error for flammable gases is ±5%, for carbon monoxide is ±10%, for hydrogen sulfide is ±5%.

History record
The device can save the records of gas concentration alarms. You can select, view, or clear the records.
