Product Usage Instructions

Registration

1. Download the KK Home App from Google Play or the App Store.
2. Tap on Sign Up and fill out the required information to receive a verification code via email.
3. Enter the verification code received and tap on Create to complete the registration process.

Pairing Your Lock

1. Click on Add Device or + in the app.
2. Add the device by searching nearby devices or scanning the QR code manually.
3. Select your device from the list to start pairing. Enter the new master code if you have changed it.
4. Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, name your lock, and complete the pairing process.

Password Management

• Permanent Password: Enter a 4-10 digit password and click on Create.
• Scheduled Password: Enter a password, set valid time and repeat days, then click on Create.
• Temporary Password: Enter a password, set a start and end date, and then click on Create.
• Random Password: A 6-digit random password is generated automatically and valid for half an hour.

Fingerprint Setup (Optional)

• If your product supports fingerprints, follow the instructions provided in the app to set up fingerprints.

Auto Lock

• Enable auto-lock to automatically lock the door after a set period, configurable from 10 seconds to 3 minutes.

Away Mode

• Activate away mode when leaving for an extended period.
• All user PIN codes become invalid until the master PIN code is entered.
• An alarm sounds if unlocked without the master PIN.

Emergency PIN Key

• To send a help message, enter “911” before a password.
• The message will be sent to the previously set email ID.

One-Touch Locking

• Manually lock the door by pressing and holding any button for 2 seconds from the outside.

FAQ

Q: Can I use the Smart Lock with a 5GHz Wi-Fi network?

• A: No, the Smart Lock only works with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

HOW TO REGISTER

1. STEP 1:   Download the “KK Home” App in Google Play or App Store.
   • Scan the QR Code to download the KK Home App.
2. STEP 2: Tap on Sign Up to get started.
3. STEP 3: Fill out the information and tap “Get Code”.The email inbox you registered will be sent a verification code. Put the code you received, and tap on“Create” to complete.

PAIRING YOUR LOCK

1. STEP 1: Click on “Add device” or “+
2. STEP 2: Add a device by searching nearby devices or scanning the QR code
   • Option 1, search devices automatically
   • Option 2, scan QR code or enter ESN manually
3. Click on your device to start pairing
   • If you have changed the default master code on the lock, please enter your new master code.
4. It only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
   • Please find your Wi-Fi network in the list, if it’s unable to search, please tap the refresh button .
   • Pairing successfully, name your lock and complete.

LOCK PAGE OVERVIEW

Click on the icon to unlock or lock.

IMPORTANT: To lock/unlock your door, please keep your phone and lock within 10 meters.

PASSWORD

• A total of 20 passwords can be set up and stored.
• The definition of 4 types of passwords
• Permanent Lasts permanently
• Scheduled Lasts for scheduled hours weekly
• Temporary Last for scheduled hours
• Random Can be used continuously for half an hour
• Permanent and scheduled passwords require Bluetooth connection to generate, temporary and random passwords can be generated anywhere and anytime.

Permanent password

• Step 1: Enter a 4-10 digit password
• Step 2: Click on “Create”

Scheduled password

• Step 1: Enter a 4-10 digit password
• Step 2: Set up the valid time and repeat days (choose one day or more days)
• Step 3: Click on “Create”

Temporary password

• Step 1: Enter a 4-10 digit password
• Step 2: Set up the start date and end date
• Step 3: Click on Create”

Random password

• A 6-digit random password is generated automatically. It’s valid for half an hour.

FINGERPRINT

(Optional, only applicable to products with fingerprints.)

AUTO LOCK

• Enable auto lock, the lock will be locked automatically in 30 seconds.
• The auto-lock time can be set from 10 seconds to 3 minutes.

AWAY MODE

• This is a safety feature for you when you leave your house for vacation or a long trip. When you activate away mode, all user PIN codes will be invalid until the master PIN code is entered on the keypad.
• When the lock is unlocked by the thumb turn or key, an alarm will sound for 1 minute. By entering the master PIN code on the keypad, you can disable the alarm and away mode.

EMERGENCY PIN KEY

• Enter 911 before a password, it will send a help message to the email ID you set up previously.

ONE-TOUCH LOCKING

• Press and hold any button for 2 seconds to lock manually from the outside.

PRIVATE MODE

• Push and hold the multifuntion button on the inside panel for 3 seconds to activate private mode. This will disable all user PIN codes.
• Private mode will be disabled automatically after the lock is unlocked using the thumb turn or master PIN code.

SHARE ACCESS

• STEP 1 Add user
• STEP 2 Choose the device you want to share
• Manage access
• Choose the method that you would like to share
• Scan the QR code to get the access to manage the lock
