Product Usage Instructions

Installation Requirements

This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

Hood Pin Installation (If not equipped)

If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, follow these steps:

  1. Set Function A11 to OFF in order to disable remote start with the hood open.
  2. Install the hood pin switch (included) to enable remote start with the hood closed.

Program Bypass Option

To program the bypass option, follow these steps:

  1. Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately) to add the firmware version and options.
  2. Select UNIT OPTION C1 for Push-to-Start.
  3. Select UNIT OPTION D6 for Push-to-Start.

Program Remote Starter Option

To program the remote starter option, follow these steps:

  1. Select FUNCTION 34 for remote starter option for R.S.
  2. Select FUNCTION 38 for OEM REMOTE STAND ALONE.
  3. Select FUNCTION 39 for COMFORT GROUP ACTIVATION.
  4. Select MODE 2 for enabling remote start with the OEM remote by pressing 3x Lock.
  5. Select MODE 3 for AUX.1 activation at 5°C, 5 seconds after remote start.

Q: Can I install the module myself?

A: This module must be installed by a qualified technician to avoid any potential damage to the vehicle.

Q: Can I use the module with a Toyota RAV4 manufactured before 2019?

A: No, this module is only compatible with Toyota RAV4 models manufactured after 2019.

Q: How do I enable remote start with the OEM remote?

A: To enable remote start with the OEM remote, select MODE 2 and press the lock button on the remote three times.

DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

  1. Press and hold the programming button: Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector).

  2. The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes.

  3. Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE.

  4. If the BLUE LED is not ON solid disconnect the 6-Pin Main connector and go back to step 1.

  5. Insert the required remaining connectors.

  6. Press the Push-to-Start button twice, to turn the ignition ON.

  8. Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn the ignition OFF.

  10. Press the Unlock button on the vehicle OEM remote.

  12. Press the foot brake pedal.
    Press the Push-to-Start button until the ignition turn ON

  13. Release the foot-brake pedal.

  14. The BLUE LED will turn OFF.

  16. Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the ignition.

  17. Press the foot brake pedal.

  18. Press the Push-to-Start button until the ignition turn ON.

  19. The RED LED will turn OFF.

  20. The YELLOW LED will turn ON.
    Wait,

  21. The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate.

  22. Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the ignition.
