Product Information: Singing Machine SML668G/SML668W
The Singing Machine SML668G/SML668W is a karaoke machine that allows users to sing their favorite songs with music and lyrics displayed on a screen. The machine comes in two colors: SML668G (black) and SML668W (white). It features built-in speakers, a CD player, and an auxiliary input for connecting external devices such as smartphones or MP3 players. Product Usage Instructions
- Read and keep the instruction manual for future reference.
- Ensure that the Singing Machine is placed on a stable surface and not near any heat sources such as radiators.
- Match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and fully insert the plug to prevent electric shock.
- Do not use the Singing Machine near water or expose it to rain or moisture to prevent fire or shock hazard.
- Clean the Singing Machine only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any of the ventilation openings to ensure normal ventilation.
- Connect the Singing Machine to an external device using the auxiliary input or insert a CD into the CD player.
- Use echo control, balance control, and auto voice control features for enhanced sound quality.

- Unplug the Singing Machine during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

If this device doesn’t work, you can reset the device using the pin.
Rechargeable Battery
This unit comes with a built-in rechargeable battery pack that will allow the unit to be used without being connected to AC power. The rechargeable battery pack must NOT be services/ replaced by the user. To optimize the battery life, we recommend to charge the unit once a month. When the battery indicator on the display flashes slowly, recharge the unit by following the steps below:
- Insert the USB cable (included) into USB Type-C port on rear of the unit. Plug the other end of the cable into computer USB port or other USB charging device (not included).
- Allow the unit to charge for approximately 4 hours for a full charge. When fully charged, the battery indicator will turn off.
- Disconnect the USB cable and the fully charged unit can be used for approximately 4 hours depending on the function chosen.
NOTE: This unit is operated by an internal chargeable lithium battery.
The unit cannot be turned on if the battery level is too low. SIt’s suggested
for the user to the unit for about 5 mins to charge up the battery. (This will
not fully charge the battery, see above for charging time required).
ATTENTION: The sound volume will adjust automatically when the battery is
not full. Recycling and Disposal Information:
- Do not dispose of electronic devices or any of their components. (especially batteries and LCD displays) in your municipal trash collection.
- Consult your local waste management authority or a recycling organization like Earth911. com to find an electronics recycling facility in your area.
CAUTION: Rechargeable batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Connection
Charging the unit
Plug the USB cable (included) into the USB Type-C port on the back of the device. Plug the other end of the cable into a conveniently located DC5V 1A socket.
Connecting to AUX IN Jack
Connect an external device by using an appropriate cable (3.5mm audio cable not included) as shown.
NOTE: See page E14 to select and use the Aux In function.
Lights Mode
There are 3 built-in light modes. Repeatedly press(ON/STANDBY/LIGHTS) button to switch between lighting effects.
Connecting the Wireless Microphone(s)
Press the (ON/STANDBY/LIGHTS) Button to turn the unit on. Press the Wireless Mic’s u button to turn on the mic. The Mic indicator will blink. It will be light solid when connected. NOTES
- Working distance of up to 30 feet/10 meters in open space.
- If there is no audio input to the unit for 20 minutes, the wireless mics connection will automatically turn off. Turn on the unit and press the button to reactivate the connection.
Changing the Wireless Microphone’s Battery
When the wireless mic batteries are low the battery indicator will flash. Change the batteries as follows:
- Unscrew the bottom of the wireless microphone.
- Replace the batteries with 2 x “AA” size/LR6 battery.
- Replace the bottom of the wireless microphone and screw it back on.
Battery Precautions
The precautions below should be followed when using batteries in this device:
- Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
- Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
- Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon Zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
- If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
- Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged, they can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. 9. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
Connecting the optional wired Microphone
Connect the wired microphone (not included) into Mic jack u or v (when
desired); the corresponding mic Indicator light will blink.
Energy Saving (Auto Power System-APS)
This unit will automatically turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity. APS is for energy saving purposes. The unit can be resumed to turn on by pressing the ON/STANDBY button once. APS is for energy saving purposes.
Operation
Playing Songs from the USB
-
Connect the unit as described previously. Press the / button to turn the unit on.

Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the unit. We have a large selection of karaoke music available for download through our Karaoke Store.

Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select the USB mode. “USB” will appear in the display. Press the (PLAY/PAUSE/STOP) button to start the playback. Press the (PLAY/PAUSE/STOP) button during playback to pause the song. Press and hold the (PLAY/PAUSE/STOP) button to stop the playback.
NOTE: The USB mode cannot be played until the flash drive is inserted. -
Adjust the volume to a comfortable level using the MUSIC VOLUME/MIC VOLUME control.

Press the button on the microphone to turn on the mic.
-
Toggle the MUSIC VOLUME/MIC VOLUME control on unit or press the the (Mic Volume +) or Mic Volume- buttons on mic as desired. Increasing this control will increase the volume of the microphone.

SKIP: Advance or go back one track by pressing the (Skip) Button. You can also skip forward or backward 10 files/tracks press and hold the(Skip) Button.

Press the (Voice effects down) Button or a (Voice effects up) to select a voice effect.

REPEAT: During playback, press the REPEAT button once during playback, the current track will be repeated. at Press the REPEAT button twice, all MP3 tracks inside the current folder will be repeated continuously. Press the REPEAT button three times, all MP3 tracks will be repeatedly. To stop repeat function by press the REPEAT button again.

Press and hold the (ON/STANDBY/LIGHTS) Button to turn the unit off.
Using a Bluetooth Device

Connect the unit as described previously. Press the (ON/STANDBY/LIGHTS) Button to turn the unit on.

Press the /VOCALS OFF button or repeatedly press the FUNC button to select the Bluetooth mode; “bt” will appear in the display.

The unit automatically searches and pairs a previously paired Bluetooth device (if previously paired). If no previously paired devices are present, connect as shown in the next step. NOTE: You can also press and hold the VOCALS OFF button to disconnect any paired devices in order to pair another device.

Turn on your device’s Bluetooth option in settings to search for a discoverable device with a Bluetooth signal. Select “SINGING MACHINE” from the device results on the Bluetooth menu.
NOTE: Also refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth device for detailed instructions. -
A chime will sound indicating pairing was successfull. NOTES
- If your Bluetooth prompts you for a passcode during the pairing process, please enter “0000” to connect.
- On some Bluetooth devices, once pairing is completed, select your Bluetooth device as “Use as Audio Device” or similar.
- If connection is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the distance between speaker and Bluetooth-enabled device does not exceed 30 feet/10 meters.

To control your Bluetooth device from this unit, press the(PLAY/PAUSE/STOP) Button to start playback (music app must be open). Press the (PLAY/PAUSE/STOP) Button during playback to pause the song.

Adjust the volume to a comfortable level using the MUSIC VOLUME/MIC VOLUME control on this unit as well as the Volume on your Bluetooth device.

Press the ON button on the microphone to turn on the mic.

VOCALS: To sing without the lead singer on the recording, press and at hold the VOCALS OFF button. To resume the lead singer, press and hold the VOCALS OFF button again.
NOTE: The Vocal off function might not work ak perfectly. It is song dependent. -
Press the (Voice effects down) Button or (Voice effects up) button a voice effect. button to select.

RECORD YOUR VOCAL PERFORMANCE: To record your singing as well as the music, press the REC button; recording will begin and the record indicator will start flashing. When done recording, press the REC button again; the Record indicator will am turn off.
NOTE: · The recorded audio file will record onto the USB drive. -
Press and hold the (ON/STANDBY/LIGHTS) Button button to turn the unit off.
Using the AUX IN Jack

Connect the unit as described previously. Press the / button to turn the unit on.

Connect the external unit to the AUX IN Jack on the rear of this unit. Connecting an external unit will allow the audio to be played through your Singing Machine.
NOTES:- It is highly recommended to set the volume on the external unit to 1/3 or lower to avoid distortion.
- Skipping files/tracks is not possible to perform on this unit when using an external device.

Adjust the volume to a comfortable level using the MUSIC VOLUME/MIC VOLUME control on this unit as well as the Volume on your Bluetooth device.

Troubleshooting Guide
Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service:
No Power
- Power is not on; press the (Bluetooth)/VOCALS OFF Button to turn unit on.
- The unit has no battery left. Charge the unit.
- Confirm that the USB jack is connected securely to the back of the unit.
- Connect the unit to a different outlet.
- The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so, simply restart the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In the event the function does not resume, please use the machine in another part of the home.
No Sound General
- Master Volume is set to minimum; raise volume.
- Correct Function was not selected; press the FUNC button to change the function.
- If using an external device, raise the volume.
No sound from the microphone
- The wireless microphone has no battery left. Change the batteries.
- Make sure microphone is turned on.
- MIC VOLUME is set to minimum; raise volume.
The Bluetooth device cannot be paired or connected with the unit
- Ensure any other Bluetooth devices are turned off to avoid accidental pairing.
- You have not activated the Bluetooth function of your device; see page E11 or refer to the Bluetooth device user’s manual.
- The system is not in pairing mode; press and hold the VOCALS OFF button to restart pairing.
The Music is not available on the unit after successfully connecting the Bluetooth
- Ensure your Bluetooth device can support the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
- The volume on the external Bluetooth device is set too low or muted; raise as desired.
- Make sure your music’s application is open.
