IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES

  • This appliance may not be used by any persons (including children) with mental disabilities, weak strength or by inexperienced persons, unless they have been properly trained or schooled in the safe use of the appliance, or unless they are properly supervised by a qualifi ed person who is responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • Before connecting this appliance to a  power socket, make sure the voltage stated on the label of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your power socket.
  • Never use the appliance in the near vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
  • Never use accessories, which have not been supplied with this appliance or which are not designed for this appliance.
  • Make sure that the power cord and plug cannot come into contact with water or dampness.
  • Do not spray the motor cover of the appliance with water or any other liquid or submerge it in water or any another liquid.
  • This appliance is designed for household use. Do not use it in an industrial environment or outdoors!
  • The appliance is intended for processing a standard amount of food in the household.
  • Keep the appliance out of children’s reach. Use extra care if the product is used near children.
  • If you will not be using the appliance, disconnect it from the electrical grid. Before assembling, disassembling, cleaning or moving the appliance, also disconnect it from the electrical power socket.
  • Do not place the appliance on or near an electrical or gas stove. Do not place the appliance near an open fl ame or devices or equipment that are sources of heat.
  • Do not use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or power plug.
  • In no case should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself; do not make any modifi cations to it – danger of injury by electrical shock!
  • Entrust all repairs and adjustments to a specialised company/service. Failure to do so will expose you to the risk of voiding the warranty policy.
  • In the event that the electric cable is damaged, have it replaced by a specialised company/service centre. Do not use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord/plug.
  • Do not place the power cord of the appliance near hot surfaces or over sharp objects.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, position the cord so that it is not stepped on or tripped over.
  • Make sure the power cord does not hang over the edge of a table, or that it is not touching a hot surface.
  • Do not disconnect the appliance from the power point by pulling the power cord – it may damage the power cord / power outlet.
  • Disconnect the cable from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.
  • Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than those for which it was designed.
  • Before emptying the bowl, always fi rst remove the chopping blade.
  • Never turn on the appliance until it is completely assembled and always disconnect it from the electrical power socket before disassembling, removing the chopping blade or changing accessories.
  • Warning! The chopping blade of the appliance is very sharp!
  • Caution! The operating time of the appliance is 30 seconds, do not allow it to run for a longer time. After 30 seconds of operation, we recommend that the appliance is allowed to cool down for 2 minutes.
  • The appliance is not designed for processing liquids such as water, milk, etc.
  • The appliance is not suitable for use on excessively hard foodstuffs such as coffee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg, spices or chocolate.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  • Before fi rst use, remove all packaging materials from the appliance and its accessories.
  • Attention! The chopping blade is very sharp! Always hold it by the top plastic part when handling it.
  • Seat the chopping blade on the central shaft on the bottom of the glass bowl.
  • Place food into the glass bowl. The recommended food processing times – see the table Food Processing Guide.
  • Cover the glass bowl (5) with the plastic lid (3).
  • On to the lid, place part (2) of the appliance.
  • Connect the appliance to a power socket. Press switch (1) downwards, hold it down for a short time and then release.
  • Pulse switching of the appliance will prevent excessive pulverisation of the inserted food.
  • After using, disconnect the appliance from the electrical power socket and remove parts (2) and (3) of the appliance off the glass bowl.
  • Carefully remove the chopping blade.
  • Take the processed food out of the glass bowl.

Attention
Fill the bowl with food up to no more than 3/4 of its volume.

CLEANING

  • Before cleaning the appliance, always turn it off and disconnect it from the el. power socket.
  • Clean the motor cover with a lightly damp cloth. Do not submerge this part of the appliance in water or in any other liquid.
  • Other parts such as the glass bowl, beater and chopping attachment, bowl lid (3) can be cleaned in a dishwasher. If you are processing food that may cause discolouration of the plastic or glass surfaces, grease with vegetable oil before cleaning or putting into a dishwasher.
  • Do not use any abrasive cleaning products, petrol or solvents to clean the appliance and its accessories.
  • Before fi rst use, we recommend that you thoroughly wash the accessories (chopping blade, beater attachment) and the glass bowl in warm water using kitchen detergent and then rinse with clean drinking water.

Instructions for processing food

The processing time for the inserted food depends on how fi nely you want the food to be chopped.
