Installation

The installation of this product requires expert knowledge and should only be carried out by an approved electrician, taking into consideration local and national regulations.

Electrical Connection

Before starting the electrical connection, make sure to switch off the mains/fixed connection cable. Follow these steps:

1. Equip flexible wire ends with suitable wire ferrules.
2. Connect the live conductor to the terminal L.
3. Connect the neutral conductor to the terminal N.
4. Connect the protective conductor to the earth terminal.
5. Connect the Dali control wires to the terminals DA.
6. Check for secure fixation and proper function.

Care and Storage

To ensure proper maintenance and storage of the product, follow these guidelines:

• Disconnect the product from mains and let it cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the external surfaces regularly with a slightly moistened cloth (water).
• Store the product in a dry and clean place.

Operating Instructions

Pendant Light

• Read manual carefully and keep for further use!
• Safety advices for installation and operation.
• Disregard may lead to danger of life, burning or fire! Any works on the electrical connection only by electrician.
• Do not alter or modify the product.
• Do not fasten anything on the product.
• Do not cover the product.
• Take out of service when suspecting a defect or malfunction and contact your dealer or a qualified electrician. Take measures that children get not harmed by the product.
• Do not stare into the active light source.
• Additional safety advices

Use as directed

• Safety class I – Connection with protective conductor.
• Operate only firmly fixed on an even surface.
• Operate only on normal or not inflammable surfaces.
• Operate only in dry indoor area.
• Do not strain mechanically or expose to strong dirt contamination. Admissible ambient temperature(ta): -25°C …45°C.

Light Source

The light source of this luminaire may only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service technician or a comparable qualified person. This product contains a light source of the energy efficiency class E.

Care

Care / Storage

Installation

Switch off mains / fixed connection cable! Use only described accessories. Use only suitable fastening materials. Only suited for ceiling surface mounting. Install as shown in the figure.
Adjust pendant length of the wires with the wire fixer. Adapting the pendant cable: Loosen strain relief (A). Push pendant cable into canopy. Secure the strain relief. The pendant cable may not be strained. Suitable Dimmer: DALI dimmer / light control. Note manufacturer`s instructions.
