Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Connect the Power Adapter from an AC outlet to the DC 5V Port on the dock.
- Connect USB Peripheral Devices to the USB-A Data Ports and USB-A Data/Charge Port on the dock.
- Connect an RJ-45 terminated network cable (CAT 5e or better) from your local area network (e.g., Router, Switch, Modem, etc.) to the Gigabit Ethernet Port on the dock to access your network via a wired LAN connection.
- Connect an HDMI Display Device to the HDMI Output Port on the dock.
- Connect a DisplayPort Display Device to the DisplayPort Output Port on the dock.
- Connect a 3.5mm audio device (headset, speakers, etc.) to the 3.5mm Audio Port on the dock.
- If the Host Computer is running a supported version of Windows or ChromeOS and has Internet access, connect the USB 3.0 Cable to the USB-B Host Port located on the dock and to a USB-A port on the Host Computer. The Host Computer will automatically detect the device and install all the required drivers.
If the Host Computer is not running Windows or ChromeOS or the drivers do not automatically install, follow these steps:
- Navigate to www.StarTech.com/USB3DOCKHDPC, and click the Drivers/Downloads tab.
- Under Driver(s), download the Driver Package for your operating system, and follow the steps outlined in the Installation guide included in the Driver Package.

Installation
- Connect the Power Adapter from an AC outlet, to the DC 5V Port on the dock.
- Connect USB Peripheral Devices to the USB-A Data Ports and USB-A Data/ Charge Port on the dock.

If the Host Computer is not running Windows or ChromeOS or the drivers do not automatically install, disconnect the dock from the Host Computer, then:
- a. Navigate to www.StarTech.com/USB3DOCKHDPC, and click the Drivers/ Downloads tab.
- b. Under Driver(s), download the Driver Package for your operating system, and Ufollow the steps outlined in the Installation guide, that’s included in the Driver Package.
