10 minutes, however once setup you can watch from your PC or mobile device
from anywhere.
When first using this device please charge for a minimum of 4 hours on a
1000mA USB charger. Using a computer USB port will under charge the battery

ACCESSING THE BACKEND VIA LOCAL PC
You can easily access the system from a PC located in the same local area network LAN (inside the same building normally) via the internal IP address.
To do this you will need to know the IP address of the HDESKX10 which you can get from the app.
Load the app, go to WiFi and look for the local IP address circled below.
Then you will need to go to internet explorer or Firefox and type in the IP
address in the following format.
http://192.168.1.239
Then you will see the following screen.
First you will see a username and password section. If you have not changed this then username will be admin and password will be left blank.
Once you are connected through the browser portal you can select the settings cog and access all the advanced features.
As many of these features are for advanced users OzSpy does not offer support in this area, however if you are familiar with computers most of the features are self explanatory.
If you accidently change things that affect the performance, simply open the back panel of the clock and push the reset button in for 10 seconds and start again.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
SD card not recording – Please format the SD card before use.
Playback and live is jittery – This will mostly be affected by your network
and internet speed, please lower the resolution until it plays smoothly.
Colours are wrong – This can be various reasons and normally does not
constitute a fault. This can be caused by unusual lighting, low light levels,
not enough power or a view with items too close affecting auto focus.
IP address keeps changing – Please disable DHCP in browser portal Network>IP
Config
Hour format – This is factory set so your clock cannot be changed from 12hr to
24hr format or vice versa.
Time setting – The time is automatically setup once you are connected to WiFi.
Battery charging – Please ensure you use a 1000mA USB power supply like what
you have for your mobile device and ensure unit is fully charged for 4-6 hours
before use with battery only. If you are using it plugged into USB power
supply then as long as you do not unplug it for the first 6 hours you can use
it immediately.
Please use this device responsibly, covert cameras help many people resolve
issues of theft and abuse, however using them for nefarious purposes is not
only immoral, but illegal and may land you in court or even jail.
