Product Information
Critical Information
When mounting your phone, be sure to hold it perpendicular to the cradle to ensure the proximity sensor is able to detect the device.
f you mount your phone at an angle, the device will need to be very close to the sensor for the arms to open.
Smartphone Cases
Reflective smartphone cases work best with the auto sensing technology. Dark colored or textured cases do not reflect light well, making it difficult for the proximity sensor to detect the phone. If you are using a dark colored or textured case, the phone will need to be very close to the sensor for the arms to open.
Compatibility
Before using this product, make sure your device is Qi-enabled. Compatible devices include the Google Pixel, iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy.
Power Adapter
If using a power adapter, ensure it is a 20W Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 or equivalent for an efficient charging experience.

Installation
Attaching the Mount

Connect the mount cradle to the ball joint, and tighten the cradle knob.

Push the mount all the way onto the air vent blades.

Adjust the rotating support so it is facing down.
Connecting to Power

Plug the included USB-C cable into the USB port located on the back of the mount cradle.

Connect the USB-C cable to your vehicle’s USB-C port or auxiliary power outlet via a 20W adapter. (Power adapter not included.)
Note: If connecting directly to your vehicle’s USB-C port, charging speeds may be affected. For the fastest charge, we recommend connecting to the auxiliary power outlet via a 20W adapter.
Using the Auto Sense Mechanism
Once it is unplugged or the car is turned off, the Auto Sense’s internal battery keeps a charge for up to one hour.
Mounting and Charging

Hold the phone in front of the mount cradle to activate the automatic clamping arms.

Place the phone inside the mount. The arms will close automatically after one second and wireless charging will begin.
Releasing Device
Release buttons are located on either side of the mount cradle. To release your phone simply press one or both buttons and the arms will open. The release buttons can also be used to open the mount arms.
Note: The Auto Sense is powered via a USB-C cable and coil cell battery. There is no on/off switch. Once it is plugged in, the device will remain on unless the vehicle is turned off.
Adjusting the Mount
Cradle Knob
To rotate the cradle, loosen the cradle knob. Tighten to lock into desired position.
Bottom Foot
The foot can be adjusted up and down to fit any size phone by pulling down or pushing up.
Qi Alignment Guide
The Qi receiver coil is usually located in the center of the phone. Check your phone’s manufacturer for Qi coil location. The Qi coil on the mount is located at the top, above the iOttie logo. Please line up your phone with the device for optimal wireless charging.
Note: For larger phones and cases, the bottom foot will need to be extended to ensure proper alignment.

undesired operation.

Operational Warnings
During the charging process, the transfer of electricity gives off heat. Your
device may become warm, but should not become exceedingly hot.
If the device gets wet, please cease charging immediately. Remove all plugs
and dry the product completely. Device is only to be operated in a dry, indoor
environment.
Please be careful of excessive drops, dents, punctures, or deformities on the
device. If you are concerned, please unplug the device and contact the
manufacturer.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Operating this device in a hot environment or in direct sunlight for a long
period of time may cause malfunctions. We recommend keeping the product in
cooler temperatures.
Please use included components for an optimal experience. To support Qi
wireless charge when using a third party car charger or a USB Power Adapter
use a minimum output of both “DC 9.0V-1.67A or DC z5.0V-2.0A” and at least QC
2.0.
The product’s signal could possibly interfere with you TPMS (tire pressure
monitoring system). If you notice that your TPMS light turns on, please try
using your mount in different locations to avoid the signals from interfering
with each other.

of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
CAUTION
