Prado 120 Series Roadsafe Tow Points Toyota Prado
Product Information:
The product is a Recovery Point designed for use with the Toyota Prado 120 Series. It is compatible with the Toyota Prado 120 Series Recovery Point RPPRA120.
Fitting Instructions:
- Due to the Prado 120 chassis design, it is imperative to use two points in conjunction with each other via a bridle strap to avoid damage or unnecessary strain to the chassis.
- Each side of the Prado 120 Series requires 1 x M12x1.25 x 100L bolt and 1 x M12x1.25 x 50L bolt. High-tensile bolts are supplied with relevant flat and split washers.
- To install the 100mm long bolt, the radiator needs to be moved backwards to allow for insertion from the radiator side of the chassis rail. The radiator does not need to be completely disconnected.
- Use a flat washer with the bolt head and secure the bolt with a flat washer and nyloc nut.
- The 50mm long bolt is for the lower hole of the tow point mount hole. This bolt enters the tow point and secures into the factory nut in the chassis.
- Use a flat washer and split washer with the bolt head.
- Ensure both bolts per tow point are fitted and torqued to recommended settings to meet tested standards.
Fitting Issues:
It has been reported that fitting issues may occur when installing the tow
points with an ARB Steel Bull Bar. Please check
if both mounting holes are accessible for fitment before ordering these tow
points.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Due to the Prado 120 chassis design, it is imperative the two points are used in conjunction with each other via a bridle strap. This is to avoid damage or unnecessary strain to the chassis, which can increase fatigue causing possible chassis failure.

- Each side uses 1 x M12x1.25 x 100L & 1 x M12x1.25 x 50L bolts. High-tensile bolts supplied, with relevant flat & split washer. The longer bolts are for the TOP hole of the tow point mount holes.
- Installation of this 100mm long bolt requires the radiator to be moved backwards to allow for the bolt to be inserted from the radiator side of the chassis rail. You do not need to completely disconnect the radiator.
- A flat washer should be used with the bolt head, with the bolt secured with a flat washer & nyloc nut.
- The 50mm long bolt is for the LOWER hole of the tow point mount hole. This 50mm long bolt enters the tow point and secures into the factory nut in the chassis.
