Product Usage Instructions:

Installation:

Label Position: The product label is positioned
on the back of the device.

Preparation: Ensure there is a power socket
within reach of where the device is being installed. Follow
instructions precisely to avoid damage to fiber optic
connectors.

Placement:

Desk Placement: Place the device horizontally
on a flat surface.

Wall Mount:

  1. Download and print the drilling template from here.

  2. Use the drilling template to drill holes, insert plugs, and put
    screws into place.

  3. Mount the device to the wall using the wall mount points on the
    back of the FiberBox.

Connecting the FiberBox:

  1. Open the green shutter from the WAN port, insert the fiber
    patch cable from your fiber outlet into the WAN port.

  2. Connect your gateway to the LAN port via an RJ45 network
    cable.

  3. Connect the supplied power adapter to the FiberBox and plug it
    into a power socket.

  4. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the device.

Warning: Do not look directly into the fiber
connector when the product is powered on.

Label position The product label is positioned on the back of the device.
Preparation Ensure there is a power socket within reach of where the device is being installed.
Important: Instructions need to be followed precisely and uninterrupted. This minimizes the risk of damage to the fiber optic connectors, causing a severe degradation of signal quality.

Placement The product supports two placement options; desk placement and mounted to a wall. It is recommended to place the device `away’ from obstacles and objects.
Desk placement 1. Place the device horizontally
on a flat surface.
Wall mount 1. Download and print the
drilling template from https:// genexis.eu/product/fiberbox/ downloads 2. Use the drilling template to drill holes, insert plugs and put screws into place. 3. Use the wall mount points on the back of the FiberBox to mount the device to the screws.

Connecting the FiberBox 1. Open the green shutter from
the WAN port, insert the fiber patch cable from your fiber
outlet into the WAN port. 2. Connect your gateway to the
LAN port via an RJ45 network cable. 3. Connect the supplied power adapter to the FiberBox and
plug the adapter into a power socket. 4. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the device.

Warning: This product contains a laser that emits invisible light. It is a Class 1 Consumer Laser product according to EN 50689:2021, which means it is safe under all conditions of normal use. However, it is still advised to not look directly into the fiber connector when the product is powered on.
Warning: Do not cover the device, this will interfere with the ventilation. Ambient Operating Temperature: 0°C ~ 40°C
