Product Usage Instructions:
To use the UF5400 series rectifier, follow these instructions:
- Ensure the rectifier is properly mounted in the DO-201AD package.
- Connect the rectifier to the appropriate circuit according to the desired application.
- Make sure to observe the polarity of the rectifier. The color band denotes the cathode end.
- Apply an average forward current (IF(AV)) of up to 3.0 A.
- Ensure the maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) does not exceed the specified values (50 V, 100 V, 200 V, 300 V, 400 V, 500 V, 600 V, 800 V, 1000 V) for your application.
- Take into account the peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 150 A when designing the circuit.
- Consider the reverse recovery time (trr) of either 50 ns or 75 ns depending on your requirements.
- Take note of the forward voltage (VF) values of either 1.0 V or 1.7 V depending on the operating conditions.
- Ensure the operating junction temperature (TJ) does not exceed -55 to +150 °C.
