Product Usage Instructions

Plug-in Fixture Installation

1. Mark holes on the wall for the WALL ANCHORS (E), drill holes on the ceiling and push the WALL ANCHORS (E) into the wall.
2. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (H) onto the wall, secure the WOOD SCREWS (F) into the WALL ANCHORS (E).
3. Place the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY’s ring (D) onto the MOUNTING PLATE (H) and secure with the SET SCREWS (G).
4. Screw the BULB (A) up into the socket of the fixture. This fixture is rated for a 60-watt Type G25 lamp. Do not exceed the recommended wattage!
5. Place the SHADE (B) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) and secure using the BOLT NUT (C).
6. Plug the CORD (I) into the wall outlet. Use the PULL CHAIN (M) to turn the fixture on and off.

Hardwire Fixture Installation

1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (H) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (J). This fixture is designed to be mounted on a standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (L) on the MOUNTING PLATE (H). Never connect ground wire to hot wire! Failure to follow this could result in serious injury or death!
3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (K). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly  wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connectionseals the end of the fastener. Make sure there are no exposed wires or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit!
4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as the previous step. Never reverse hot and neutral wires. Failure to follow this could result in serious injury or death!
5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) to the MOUNTING PLATE (H) and secure with the SET SCREWS (G).
6. Place the SHADE (B) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) and secure using the BOLT NUT (C).
7. Screw the BULB (A) up into the SOCKET of the fixture. This fixture is rated for a 60-watt Type G lamp. Do not exceed the recommended wattage!
8. Use the PULL CHAIN (M) to turn the fixture on and off.
9. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.

• DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE RE-LAMPING OR WIRING THE FIXTURE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
• TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN.

• UNPACK FIXTURE, PARTS AND PARTS BAG(S) BEFORE DISCARDING THE CARTON. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL PARTS ARE FOUND. INSPECT THE FIXTURE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION FOR ANY DAMAGE. HVLG DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE ELECTRICIAN FEES. FIXTURE MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SEE WARRANTY FOR EXCEPTIONS.
• PLEASE CLEAN WITH A SOFT, DRY CLOTH ONLY! DO NOT USE CLEANSERS.

Installation Instructions

PLUG IN FIXTURE INSTALLATION

1. Mark holes on the wall for the WALL ANCHORS (E), drill holes on the ceiling and push the WALL ANCHORS (E) into the wall.
2. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (H) onto the wall, secure the WOOD SCREWS (F) into the WALL ANCHORS (E).
3. Place the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY’s ring (D) onto the MOUNTING PLATE (H) and secure with the SET SCREWS (G)
4. Screw the BULB (A) up into the socket of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE G25 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
5. Place the SHADE (B) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) and secure using the BOLT NUT (C)
6. Plug the CORD (1) into the wall outlet. Use the PULL CHAIN (M) to turn the fixture on and off.

HARDWIRE FIXTURE INSTALLATION

1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (H) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (1). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (L) on the MOUNTING PLATE (H). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO ‘HOT” WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (K). Starting I* below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) to the MOUNTING PLATE (H) and secure with the SET SCREWS (G).
6. Place the SHADE (B) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (D) and secure using the BOLT NUT (C)
7. Screw the BULB (A) up into the SOCKET of the fixture.THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE G LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
8. Use the PULL CHAIN (M) to thrun the fixture on and off
9. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
