Product Usage Instructions

Hardwire Fixture Installation

  1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (J). Ensure that the junction box is securely mounted to the building structure.
  2. Connect the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box or the GROUND SCREW (L) on the MOUNTING PLATE. Never connect the ground wire to the hot wire to avoid serious injury or death.
  3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (K). Make sure there are no exposed wires or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit.
  4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as the previous step. Never reverse hot and neutral wires to avoid serious injury or death.
  5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).
  6. Place the SHADE (K) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) and secure using the RING (I).
  7. Screw the BULB (J) into the SOCKET of the fixture. Ensure not to exceed the recommended wattage of 60 watts.
  8. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
  9. Turn on the SWITCH (L) on the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H).

Plug-in Fixture Installation

  1. Mark holes on the wall for the WALL ANCHORS (F) and drill holes on the ceiling. Push the WALL ANCHORS (F) into the wall.
  2. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the wall and secure it with WOOD SCREWS (G) into the WALL ANCHORS (F).
  3. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).
  4. Place the SHADE (K) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) and secure using the RING (I).
  5. Screw the BULB (J) into the SOCKET of the fixture. Ensure not to exceed the recommended wattage of 60 watts.
  6. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
  7. Plug the CORD (M) into the wall outlet.
  8. Turn on the SWITCH (L) on the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H).

Installation Instructions

HARDWIRE FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (H) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (J). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
  2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (L) on the MOUNTING PLATE (H). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
  3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (K). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT.
  4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
  5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).
  6. Place the SHADE (K) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) and secure using the RING (I).
  7. Screw the BULB (J) up into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE A LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE.
  8. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
  9. Turn the SWITCH (L) on the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H).

PLUG IN FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Mark holes on the wall for the WALL ANCHORS (F), drill holes on the ceiling and push the WALL ANCHORS (F) into the wall.
  2. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the wall, secure the WOOD SCREWS (G) into the WALL ANCHORS (F).
  3. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).
  4. Place the SHADE (K) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) and secure using the RING (I).
  5. Screw the BULB (J) up into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE A LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE.
  6. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
  7. Plug the CORD (M) into the wall outlet. Turn the SWITCH (L) on the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H).
