MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION

Note
The mounting bracket allows the STELLAR high bay luminaire to be installed on angled surfaces between 0° and 45°.
Luminaire should remain perpendicular to the ground. It is also recommended to use a safety lanyard installed in 1 of 4 suspension points.
Step 1
Mount the luminaire with mounting bracket to appropriate location using 2x M12 bolts or 2x 1/2” (12.7mm) bolts. Bolts not supplied by Coolon.

3 Step 2
Adjust the angle of the luminaire and once done, tighten the  bolts on both sides until the luminaire is fully locked in thedesired position.COOLON

4 ATTENTION

  • Length and structural grade of fasteners to be determined by installer.
  • Corrosion resistant fasteners recommended.

Customers must select an appropriate method and material for the mounting of luminaires/equipment.
Avoid mixing materials which may lead to premature equipment failure or insecure mounting due to corrosion or accelerated wear and tear.
Customers should account for environmental factors such as temperature, wind, vibration, shock, impact, etc. when identifying appropriate mounting.
A periodic inspection and maintenance plan should be established in accordance with environmental and other relevant factors affecting the long term luminaire/equipment operation and secure mounting.
A secondary fall arrest kit is recommended for all suspended luminaires/equipment.

SUSPENSION MOUNTING INSTALLATION

Step 1
To prepare the STELLAR high bay for suspension mounting, remove the bolts on both sides of the luminaire and remove the mounting bracket.
Step 2
Suspend the luminaire at the 4x suspension points as marked on the lifting bracket. It is recommended to use a safety lanyard.

ATTENTION

  • Suspension hardware (chains, shackles, carabiners and safety lanyard) not supplied by Coolon.
  • Suspension hardware grade (structural grade certified) to be determined by installer. MUST be suitable for contact with SS316.
  • Minimum load recommended per chain: 100kg (certified).

  •  The product must be installed by a suitably qualified person
  • Do not stare at operating lamp, may be harmful to the eyes
  • Turn OFF the power before installation and maintenance
  • Make sure the product is securely installed
  • The housing might become hot after operation
