IRONING TIPS

  • Always check if the garment to be ironed has an ironing label. If so,  follow those instructions.
  • The iron heats up much faster than it cools down. Therefore, you should start by ironing items that require a lower temperature such as those made with synthetic fiber.
  • If the material to be ironed consists of several types of fibers, you must always choose the lowest recommended temperature among all the fibers.
  • Silk and other shiny fabrics must be ironed inside.
  • Velvet and other shiny textures should be ironed in one direction only with little pressure applied. Keep the iron moving at all times.
  • 100% wool garments should be ironed with steam, preferably at maximum power and with a dry cloth as a mat.
  • Never iron on zippers or rivets, as it will damage the sole.
Setting Temperature (℃) Fabric
