BEGA 50524.1 Recessed Luminaire
Product Information
This product is a luminaire that requires installation and operation according to national safety regulations. It is important to note that the installation and commissioning should only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage caused by improper use or installation. Any modifications made to the luminaire should be done by the person responsible for those modifications, who will then be considered the manufacturer. The electronic components in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547. However, for additional protection against transients and other factors, it is recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.
The luminaire has different module designations (K3 and K4) with corresponding specifications for colour temperature, colour rendering index, module luminous flux, luminaire luminous flux, and luminaire luminous efficiency. These specifications are provided for LED-0447/930 (3000 K) and LED-0447/940 (4000 K) modules. For installation in solid walls or ceilings, it is recommended to use the installation housing 13 028. To securely hold the luminaire in the plastered installation housing, it is necessary to unscrew the screws on the underside of the fastening claws and remove the adapter for the fastening claws.
The product requires a power supply unit, which is available as on/off or DALI options (13 177 or 13 173). It is important to note that these power supply units are only suitable for operating one LED luminaire.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the installation and commissioning of the luminaire are carried out by a qualified electrician.
- If modifications are required, they should be done by the person responsible for those modifications.
- For additional protection against overvoltage and transients, consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.
- Choose the appropriate module designation (K3 or K4) based on the desired specifications for colour temperature, colour rendering index, module luminous flux, luminaire luminous flux, and luminaire luminous efficiency.
- If installing in solid walls or ceilings, use the recommended installation housing 13 028. Follow the instructions to securely hold the luminaire in the plastered installation housing.
- Select the appropriate power supply unit (on/off or DALI) based on your requirements. Note that each power supply unit is suitable for operating only one LED luminaire.
For more information on accessories and their usage, please refer to the separate instructions for use provided upon request.
