  • THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES ADULT ASSEMBLY. Follow assembly instructions carefully. If you experience any difficulties, please contact the Customer Service Department.

SUFFOCATION, STRANGULATION, AND FALL HAZARDS

  • Young infants have limited head and neck control. If the seat is too upright, the infant’s head can drop forward and compress the airway.
  • ALWAYS keep the seat fully reclined until the infant is at least 4 months old AND can hold up their head without help.
  • Stay near and watch the infant during use. This product is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use. If the infant falls asleep, remove the infant as soon as possible and place the infant on a firm, flat sleep surface such as a crib or bassinet.
  • Children have STRANGLED in loose or partially buckled harness straps.
  • Infants and children have suffered head injuries falling from swings and rockers.
  • Never carry a swing or rocker with an infant in it.

INFANT SWING

  • Always use restraints. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • Stop using the swing when the infant attempts to climb out (9 months).

INFANT/TODDLER ROCKER

  • Babies suffocate when rockers tip over on soft surfaces.
  • NEVER use on a bed, sofa, cushion, or other soft surface.
  • Always use restraints until the child can climb in and out of the rocker unassisted. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • STOP using the rocker when the baby has reached 20 lb (9 kg) in infant rocker mode and 40 lb (18 kg) in toddler rocker mode.
  • The upright position is only for children who have developed enough upper body control to sit up without tipping forward.
  • Always place the rocker on the floor. Never use on any elevated surface.
  • Properly store the harness when using toddler rocker mode.

STRANGULATION HAZARD

  • DO NOT suspend strings over the product or attach strings to toys.
  • DO NOT place the product in any location where there are cords, such as window blind cords, drapes, phone cords, etc.
  • Strings can cause strangulation. DO NOT place items with a string around your child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT if it is damaged or broken.
  • DO NOT place the product near water and moisture. Do not use the product near possible wet areas, such as a bathtub, shower, wash basin, sink, laundry tub, swimming pool, wet basement, etc.
  • DO NOT use the AC adapter if it has been exposed to liquids, has been dropped, or is damaged.
  • Protect the power cord. Place it so it is not walked on or pinched by furniture or other items.
  • DO NOT use an extension cord.
  • Use only the power cord provided.
  • Body support for use only with this product.

Body support

  • Only use this body support on this swing. Never use this body support on any other product.

Harness Covers and Crotch Strap Covers

  • Only use harness covers and crotch strap cover on this swing. Never use harness covers and crotch strap cover on any other product.

Modes of Use

  • Infant Swing: For use up to 25 lb (11 kg)
  • Infant Rocker: For use up to 20 lb (9 kg)
  • Toddler Rocker: For use up to 40 lb (18 kg)

WARNING Always use restraints until the child can climb in and out of the product unassisted.

Assembling Swing Base

  • Insert the ends of base tubes (B) (C) into openings in motor housing (D) as shown.
  • CHECK that buttons are visible, and pull out on each base tube to ensure it is fully attached.

To Attach Seat to Base

  1. Hold the seat by the sides and attach the rocker to mount on swing base.GRACO-1AV-Infant-Swing-Infant-Toddler-Rocker-FIG-9
  2. CHECK rocker is secured to mount by lifting on the seat.

To Remove Seat from Base

  • The seat can be removed from the base for storage.
  • Pull the handle on the rear of the base to unlock the seat.

To Secure Child

WARNING Falling Hazard: Swing Mode: Always use restraints. Rocker Modes: Always use restraints until the child can climb in and out of the product unassisted. STRANGULATION HAZARD: Children have STRANGLED in loose or partially buckled harness straps.

  1. To open, press the button on the buckle to release the waist straps.

  2. To close, slide shoulder strap connectors to waist straps and insert into the buckle.

  3. Use a slide adjuster at the shoulder and waist for tighter adjustment.

  4. When changing shoulder strap slots in the seat frame, MAKE SURE shoulder straps are going through the same slots in the seat pad as the slot in the frame.

  5. The shoulder straps must go into the slot that is even with or slightly above the child’s shoulders. Avoid twisting straps.
    CHECK harness is secured by pulling on it.

To Use Rock Lock™

  • LOCK Rock Lock™ to help the child get in and out of products.
  • UNLOCK Rock Lock™ before turning on swing motions.
  1. To lock Rock Lock™, move the seat to the centre position and then press the bottom of the button.
  2. To unlock Rock Lock™, press the top of the button.

To Adjust Height

DO NOT adjust the height of the child in the product.

  1. To adjust the height, pull the handle on the front of the base and slide the seat up or down.

To Adjust Recline (3 positions)

ALWAYS use most reclined positions until the infant is at least 4 months old and can hold up his head without help. Use the more upright position for older, more active infants.

  1. To recline, pull up on the seat back slightly, squeeze the recline handle, and move into 1 of 3 positions.

To Store Harness for Toddler Rocker Mode

WARNING Always use restraints until the child can climb in and out of the product unassisted.

  1. To open, press a button on the buckle to release the waist straps.
  2. Remove body support. DO NOT use body support without harnesses.
  3. Insert shoulder, waist and crotch straps through seat pad and store them under the plastic flap in the indent in the back of the seat pan. Use body support without harnesses.

To Use Wall Plug

WARNING
DO NOT place the product near water or moisture. Do not use the product near possible wet areas, such as a bathtub, shower, wash basin, sink, laundry tub, swimming pool, wet basement, etc.
DO NOT use the AC adapter if it has been exposed to liquids, has been dropped, or is damaged.
Protect the power cord. Place it so it is not walked on or pinched by furniture or other items.

Strangulation Hazard: Keep this cord out of the reach of children.
DO NOT use an extension cord. Use only the power cord provided.

Swing Controls

WARNING avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use a restraint system. After fastening the buckles, adjust the belts to get a snug fit around your infant.

TO TURN THE SWING ON

Plug the product into the wall, and power ( ) will light up. Press power ( ), all icons will light up white and swing motion ( ) and speed ( ) will light up blue. The product will begin to swing. Change speed if needed by pressing Swing motion ( ) again until the desired speed.
TO TURN SWING OFF: Press and hold power ( ) again to turn it off. It will take a few seconds for the swing to stop moving.

Indicators

(Power) Press power ( ) to turn the swing controls on. To turn swing controls off press and hold power ( ). It will take a few seconds for the swing to stop moving. Swing will auto shut off after 4 hours.

Swing Speed Controls

(Swing Speed)
Press swing speed ( ) to cycle through 6 motion speed options. Swing speed will flash during mode change and ( ) illuminate the solid in full motion. Press swing speed ( ) a 6th time or press and hold swing speed ( ) to turn the swing speed off.

(Vibration)

  • Press Vibration ( ) to choose
  • vibration setting.
  • Vibration settings are:
  • (1) Low
  • (2) Medium
  • (3) High
  • (4) Highest
  • (0) Off
  • Press and hold Vibration ( ) will also turn the vibration off.

Sound Controls

(Music)

  • Press Music ( ) to turn the music on.
  • Song 1 will play at volume (1) Low.
  • Press Music ( ) to skip to the next song (S).
  • Press Sound Volume ( ) until the number is (0) or press and hold Music ( ) to turn off.
